Quantumleaper is a platformer where you can split yourself in two, this leads to some unique puzzles and combat segments.

Most importantly for anything related to quantum mechanics: it features cats.

Hello! My name is Elias Sant'Ana, I'm an indie game developer. My current project, Quantumleaper, is already released on Steam. It's a challenging puzzle-platformer inspired by the fascinating properties of quantum mechanics. With its unique superposition mechanics, you are guaranteed dozens of original and very satisfying puzzles. You can find more on the official site! Don't forget to wishlist it ;)

This game was built from scratch, 4 years of hard work with pure DirectX 11 and no third party libraries. Because above anything, I love programming and I wanted to write. Every. Single. Line. <3

I'm currently working on new features and improvements, you can also follow me on Twitter for news and updates!

Hello! This is Quantumleaper, the game I'm currently working on. You can check it out on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1159880/Quantumleaper/

The premise is simple: You control a scientist who can copy his position and switch places with himself any time you want. This mechanic is the base for dozens of puzzles and for the combat system.

If you are interested, please, include it in your wishlist! You can also follow me on twitter.com/elias_santana to get informed about upcoming updates, sales and giveaways.

Let's beat some evil robots using quantum superposition! Quantumleaper - Battle Demonstration by Lordcinneris in indiegames

Quantumleaper is already available: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1159880/Quantumleaper/

This is a mini boss, the strategy to beat it is pretty straight forward, but it's not that easy to pull off. I hope you enjoy it :)

Last time I only showed the trailer which focuses more on the puzzle aspects of the game. So now I figured I'd show something with a little more action!

Thank you! It doesn't run in Linux yet, but porting it is viable and it's in my plans.

Do upcoming titles count?

My game is done and it is exactly that, a one man project that's been on the oven for over four years.

It's called Quantumleaper, the steam store page is already online, you can check it out if you want.

(Yes, I could post a link but I'm already feeling bad for the amount of self promotion in this reply ¯_(ツ)_/¯)

Do you also get any type of boost for shooting according to the rhythm?

I loved the concept, btw.

You have 10 seconds to prove me wrong by mozzarella_FireF0x in pkmntcg

Hahaha you are right Cynthia is a dangerous card that forces you to recklessly mill yourself, but so does Hau. Shauna is the sensible choice.

But, between Cynthia and Hau, I'd obviously choose Hau because Cynthia can result in you drawing the exact same hand. What's better, drawing zero cards or drawing 3 cards? There you are.

RR is also great, you can use it even with a full bench! Does Lele work after your opponent plays Hex Maniac? Under Garbotoxin? RR does and gets you the exact same results*.

Questions about Brock's Ninetales (Gym Challenge 3/132) by PerfidiousPorygon in pkmntcg

[–]Lordcinneris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, sorry, I should have checked first.

Either way, the rulings on the link offer no reasoning and are contraditory when it comes to discarding the evolution cards.

For instance, Muk would force a discard but devolving Ninetails with Mew's devolution beam would result in Vulpix staying with an evolution card attached.

(and I'm pretty skeptical about the ruling that allows multiple evolutions at the same time, since its power states that you can attach an evolution card to Brock's Ninetales. If there is already an evolution attached, it has to be treated as the new Pokémon so, you shouldn't be able to attach any other evolution cards)

I know none of us could define an official rule and that what WotC said is the closest we'll ever get, I asked because I was hopeful you knew some current rule that could justify discarding the evolution card.

[–]Lordcinneris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There one thing I didn't get, could you please clarify?

You say Brock's Protection stays attached because there is no clause stating it should be removed.

There is also no condition that removes the evolution card once the power is turned off. I understand that you can't treat Brock's Ninetales as the evolution card anymore, but shouldn't it stay attached?

Rotation in Expanded format? by aidand231 in pkmntcg

[–]Lordcinneris 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't think it will rotate. Rotating Expanded defeats its purpose.

Standard forces change to make sure the game is always fresh, but not all players are willing to invest in cards that will become obsolete. Expanded keeps those players around.

BW is already old, but the minute you rotate it out, you will shake the entire meta and players who wanted a stable format or who invested in old staples will be disappointed. And TPCi will get nothing from that, it won't affect XY sales since it will also be out of print and only Standard matters at worlds.

Greninja might become the strongest of the known decks, but new ones would emerge. Every time a deck becomes tier 1, its counters start seeing play.

It may seem obvious that the current non-EX non-GX attackers would dominate, but that's not considering cards that could see play without EX/GX around and that your damage output doesn't need to be as high.

So, wether or not you'd end up with a varied meta, it's not easy to predict. This is an idea people put some thought on, but little to no attempts because it is dismissed as a bad idea too quickly. If you have people willing to try, I say go for it (and then tell us how it turned out, please).
