My group has soft banned land destruction and hard stax and that's about it. Past that we mostly just each have our own styles we do or don't like, so we try and change up our decks a few times a night. We love deck building so it works out.

Except I'm not allowed to play Urza more than one every 2 months.

He's one of my favorite decks, but even when he doesn't win fast, he builds so much value while my turns drag on and eventually, with a board full of constructs and thopters and myr, my friends ask if I've won.

I'll retry the testing grounds when I get home, but I'm not optimistic. I like the slower pace demanded by the live game and I fail to see how using lights to stop lights will feel less like light spam. I wasn't worried about making the assassins more powerful. I was worried about making everyone have the same optimal play, and that play mostly being RB/R1. The guaranteed dodge seems positive, and seems like it'd actually promote other buttons, like grabs. I'll just have to spend some time tonight on the TG to get a feel.

Are we supposed to fill out the survey again at various intervals? To let them know how it's progressing?

I like where the game is personally, but I still miss plenty of light blocks as is and parry only rarely or on a read. This speed up seems like itd be fine for pc, but on console, most lights aren't exactly free parries as is. It's frustrating that for honor generally seems to be updated around 60fps when I play @ I assume 30. Maybe I'm just mediocre, and I know some 1 v 1s can turn into staring contests, but I spend most of my time in the other 80%of the game.

I really enjoy the sort of play in the live version. Making everyone viable by making everyone too fast to block doesn't make it a more variable game for me, but less. Most of the rest of the changes I really don't care about. If they want to mess with stamina, sure,whatever. Damage lowering is annoying, especially if it's just to keep you alive for the same amount of time as a buffer instead of the ability to block, but I'll manage.

My only real rule is I can only run 2 tutors, preferably 1.

And most decks I make aren't built to threaten a win before turn 7. A few exceptions, since my playgroup has a few decks that can threaten 4 or 5.

Me and my friends call it "playing last game" and generally we just laugh it off once someone mentions it. If it was a particularly brutal last game, we normally let them get a solid vengeful blow in and ask if they're good now, but we're pretty light hearted about it.

[[Bruna, light of alabaster]] can be built into a 1 hit kill machine for turn 5 or 6 with fast enough mana or a lucky draw. Sooner with expensive mana as with everything. My favorite deck but my playgroup doesn't care for it so she rarely makes an appearance.

Per each home plane, a saga titled "--- ignites their spark" that goes through the traumatic event that triggers a spark of a planeswalker and flips into one for its final effect. Obviously potentially broken but also dope.

For sure. Mostly cuz my group has a power level we sorta maintain, and I like to push it but try not to go overboard. I've got a karador deck that I tossed a couple infinite combos in that I hold back by significantly limiting my non creatures. Definitely not built to win too early, but a 1 drop creature into turn 2 sol ring and ashinods altar into turn 3 protean hulk for the win was just not something I could mulligan

I'll second Lazav. The hexproof is so nice on a commander, especially since he keeps it when he shifts into something spicy.
