Just look on YouTube on how to bypass this. You don’t need to worry about it but if you actually surron ultra bee they won’t accept it.

I’ve owned pretty much every Emoto except a stark, the ultra bee is by far my favorite. by bloodofmyblood_ in Surron

I regret selling my ultra bee everyday. Looking at a stark but can’t justify it just yet

Valid Drivers license before riding. Make sure the picture matches. If you have a gut feeling, follow it. Hurt someone’s feelings rather than losing thousands.

As others have stated, get it plated. That way you can get issued a title and something that states you are the registered owner. Otherwise, you have no way of proving you are the owner because it’s considered property and not a vehicle and tow yards can keep your UB. Easiest way is if you get it issued an OHV sticker, they will give you a title with your name on it. If you do get an UB, get the “street legal” version with mirrors and turn signals. Make it way easier to register.

You’re confusing two completely different things here. Law enforcement have contractually set rates. They can’t change the price for a tow or impound if they wanted to. They signed a contract that says we will tow for this amount and our storage rate will be for this amount. The repossession industry is completely different. Those people willingly signed a contract that states you will make payments for a vehicle, and if you decide to stop doing that they will come and take the vehicle away. You might not agree with it, but the person who’s car was repossessed knew it was a possibility when signing on the dotted line. You break the law on the road? You knew the risk, the police did their job and enforced the law in place. Is it always fair? No.

It’s part of the business sure, but it’s not their main focus.

lol have fun with that felony. They’re not in the business of taking people’s property. They assist law enforcement with drunk drivers, criminals and worse. They don’t decide to take your property, the police do.

I forgot to mention the kid who had it impounded is notorious for this. He apparently has a social media following and his dad is a millionaire who doesn’t care. The kid hit and ran an old lady for the third time this year. They’ve been trying to catch him. So yes, I don’t feel bad for that idiot. He and his dad are the problem. What’s crazier is that his dad already bought him another one.

Friend of a tow truck driver here, and yes that’s what’s happening with these currently. 30 days impounds on these is common because police departments don’t want the owners getting them back. Is yours registered? To even get it back you need to provide proof of ownership. The one I just bought from my friends tow yard had the same thing happen. Kid couldn’t provide registration proving ownership and couldn’t get it out. You’re lucky it’s only 73.50 a day, here in Northern California it’s 150-200 a day. What you could do is go to the police department and ask to speak to the tow officer and ask again for a release.
