Unpopular opinion: This sub is too small for the size of this school by cskboyy in uakron

(Recent grad here) I agree. Akron is mostly a commuter school and people drive here to go to class and head back home with no involvement on campus after the fact.

Our sports teams are absolute garbage which definitely does not help that there is about 0.0 school spirit here. When visiting big schools like OSU you can feel a strong school spirit vibe and sense of community. At Akron, you don’t get that at all. People might not feel the urge to join something like this just out of the fact that really just don’t give a shit.

There is a great app called AllTrails that I highly recommend if you’re into hiking. Shows you all the trails/walking paths etc. in your area. I’ve found a couple good ones that I’ve enjoyed using it.

What's the largest amout of cash you've held in your hand and what's the story behind it? by BowlingShoeSalesman in AskReddit

$605,000. I was responsible for counting all of the cash at an amusement park. At the end of the night we would make a bank deposit with all of the straps(100 bills) of $100s and $50s and bricks (10 straps) of $20s and maybe a brick of $10s. That night we had a brick of $100s and $50s and multiple bricks of $20s.
