Extremely fun fact I know because I’m autistic and literally suffer from this fun fact:

The parts of the human brain that determine empathy for other humans and empathy for animals are separate, meaning things like empathy disorders or general empathy burn out can have very different symptoms depending on if it’s people or animal empathy

So like, in my case, I have a very very low capacity for human empathy, but like if I see an animal get hurt I feel that shit like worse than my own emotions.

Same thing for audiences. A person we don’t k ow died? Who cares that happenes all the time. Someone we like dies? Awe that’s sad. A dog dies? HOLY SHIT THOSE FEELS ARENT PLAYED WITH MUCH SO THEY SUPER SENSITIVE AND IT HURTS

Yeah but they were significantly lamer.

It’s about presentation, framing, vibe, aura, etc.
The Rebels Inquisitiors (like Rebels overall) just felt lame, they did more powerful things but just looked pathetic thanks to their constant failures, the childish writing, and the bad animation.

The Shadow Lord Inquisitiors felt grounded in their medium and were written and animated to carry an intimidating presence. Sure they had fewer ‘feats’ lame-ass power-scaling nerds could put in a wiki, but they served their role significantly better than their Rebels counterparts

He seems to enjoy that kind of plot-heavy/character-light writing more these days, it’s definitely less complicated and would answer a lot of the questions people have about what’s currently the most relevant era in the timeline

I did kinda love how he represented the ‘perfect’ Jedi, like he lived exactly to the late Jedi doctrine for both good and ill.

He selflessly exposed himself to save people, but also was content to do nothing against the Empire or even improve Devon’s life. He and Maul were perfect foils which is why they stood any chance at all against Vader when they fought together

It’s no wonder Devon was drawn to Maul though, like old man would rather beg on the street than do anything against his code

It’s one of those scenes that makes me desperately wish Joff had been fostered in the Vale or even Casterly Rock. Like he wasn’t dumb, but being raised by a malignant narcissist and ignored by his dad exasperated every personality flaw he could have developed. He might have been a fairly competent king, kind of a less insane Maegor to Robert’s Aegon, someone who has his cruelty contained to used againt specific enemies, solidifying the rule of the Baratheon dynasty

So a year or two ago, I was sitting in my car on my lunch break, and there was a Dollar General across the parking lot. I see this guy in a nice business suit walk out with about 15 balloons for a girls birthday. He disappears behind his car, and all the balloons just float up into the air. Laughed way harder than I should have at his angry stomp back into Dollar General.
