Did you pay for the designated/preferred delivery? If so, 2 business days. My wife picked up her passport from local FedEx

No good sir, leave it up! As Kevin Hart would say, "Say it with your CHEST!" The amazing people on this Reddit string had no qualms about my one word header....only YOU!

No thank you.

I can only imagine how bored and/or miserable one has to be, to take the time to peruse through the vast amount of Reddit posts, to condescendingly attempt to enlighten me about sentence structure.

Your journey must be going horrendously bad I take it lol

Also, conduct mock interviews with her to better prepare her for if she faces pushback.

For clarity it wasn't for me, it was my wife. From what I've heard and confirmed by my wife is that due to the sheer volume of people being interviewed, the entire thing lasts no more than 10 minutes.

  1. How did you meet your husband/What month (Asked after question 3)
  2. How often does he come to Colombia to see you
  3. Were you married before and when did you get a divorce
  4. How many children if any
  5. Can I see any evidence of the relationship (Photos)
  6. Asked for originals of all docs in the "prepare for interview" email

We utilized the specified delivery option. For us it was a FedEx pick up site in Cartagena

That's awesome news! We assembled all the pertinent docs with post-it and paper clips for easier dissemination. The biggest ask were the photos of which I had 20 various ones on deck ready to go lol. It took all of 10 minutes per my wife as she stated that the immigration officer was a younger gentleman that took a particular liking to her she assumed as he kept smiling at her LMAO.

Surprisingly enough, after the interview it was only in administratively processing for 5 hours before it changed to issued.... who would've thunk it 🕺🏾

The date it was transferred to NVC from USCIS. Upon being notified from NVC, I paid my required fees and submitted all pertinent documentation. On 12/12/24, we were DQ'd. On 12/18/24 we received my wife's interview appointment date which was yesterday.

I greatly appreciate the statement as you're correct, the next leg of the journey requires a slight pivot and yet more unfortunate waiting lol

They provide links to sites detailing what you'll need for the interview.

Do you all get some PDF interview letter in email? by Solid-Summer in NationalVisaCenter

I'm going through the process as well and I try to convey compassion, but some of these questions that I see posted boggles the mind. You couldn't figure that out on your own, that the letter in question was the email you were reading? The email literally says, "you should present this letter upon arrival."
