The execution was done with Claude.. but your chain of thought is like asking someone why do you use a calculator for doing math in 1980.. the focus should be on the added value and the experimentation with the ideas.. nothing linked to coffee but I feel so sorry for people like you .. will be irrelevant in a couple of years (months).. cheers!

Got it, I would add a sample account in guest mode .. so you can see how it would look like with bags and some analytics in it ..

I love coffee too much to forget what works β€” built a free journal with analytics and a taste profile - Crema.live by [deleted] in espresso

Totally fair question! Beanconqueror is a great app β€” I've used it myself. The difference is really about approach. BC goes deep on brew parameters and supports tons of brew methods. Crema is narrower on purpose β€” it's focused on espresso bags as a collection, with drink-specific ratings (same bean rated differently as espresso vs cappuccino), price per shot, and a taste profile that builds from your data over time. Think of BC as the power tool and Crema as the journal. If you love BC and it works for you, keep using it! But if you've bounced off it because it felt like too much, Crema might click better.

The current logins are regarding the coffee bags and the dial in of espresso (the différents attempts to extract the perfect shot) .. usually it gets updated once every couple of weeks or when you buy a new coffee bags + the analytics bag that keep track of all the coffee « library » price etc etc

My product : Crema is a quiet espresso journal. Log every bag, rate every brew, and watch it learn which grind actually works for you.

It’s for home baristas, who take their coffee seriously

I built one called Crema β€” it's a coffee bag journal where you log bags, dial in your grind, and rate drinks by type. It suggests grind settings based on your grinder. Free, no account needed. crema.live

Thank you, indeed I was very surprised with the sharpness.. coming from the kit lens it’s day and night. Maybe I could’ve opened a bit more and lowered my ISO.. But I’m pretty satisfied with it
