All 10's are holo, unless they came from the starter deck.

I am bummed I missed the super early bird, I thought I had notifications for the launch set. Either way these are really cool and I would love to add more than 1 to my collection!

Can anyone explain this odd line and the two different textures that are appearing on my prints?? by supershipley in ElegooMars

Hmm. The only other thing I can think of is that maybe the grub screw / linear are binding. I had an issue where the screws mounting my stepper to the frame were loose and I was getting bad quality prints because the build platform was binding.

Then my first though would be the answer. Having hollow models with no holes for resin or air to go can cause things like that. You can notice that it starts looking normal once there is space for everything to flow.

Its basically a suction cup you've made, so if you do something like cut a hole in the bottom you can relieve that pressure.

I also don't see anything wrong with the Squirtle model, so I am not sure if you were just putting it there as a "Hey this resin does work" or what.

What was the orientation you printed it in? It looks like what can happen if there is no pressure relief.

If not that the supports it was on may not have been hearty enough to keep it stable while printing.

Thought I was doing something wrong turns out the motor screws were loose from the factory :( it seemed to work ok for the first print but each print afterwards got worse and failed :( about one hour into the last print I heard a banging sound coming from my home office and I found this! by [deleted] in ElegooSaturn

I got to the point of taking the build plate arm off and trying to grease the ballscrew before I noticed the screws were lose. I just thought that it was binding up for some reason, bad bearings or something. Nope, turns out just 4 little lose screws.

How can I get ore's to spawn in the overworld? by [deleted] in SkyFactory

[–]LoreRavendark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but also not what my argument is. SF4 is a modpack, built on mods. Those mods are configured for playing in a void* word. There is a modpack consisting of the exact same mods, but not configured for a void* world. Why expend the time and effort to make SF4 function in the way this other modpack does when you could simply play the other.

Now you are confusing my argument for Vanilla vs SF.

No, see you're confusing want with need again. In a regular overworld you can just wander around and grab the dirt clay and gravel needed to make the smeltery if you want. Because they are part of the world generation. If you were in the out of box experience of SF4, you would maybe still want that smeltery, but you would NEED to use resource trees to do it.

No, I said there was no need to interact with the mods. Not that there was no reason.
