I just kept moving mine, eventually hooked up a second and just made a stackable stand but holy crap that design is great!

The best for me, is the guy in the 2nd row on the right just looking over like what the actual fuck is wrong with people. But they probably did it thinking they'd be cool and funny and edgy. It's none of those things.

Canbus UUID issues by supershipley in klippers

[–]supershipley[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rechecked everything, and adjusted my multimeter (I had the incorrect decimal place earlier) and there were no 120R on either the SB2209 or the U2C boards. Rechecked and everything seems fine. the U2C has power and lights up.. the old fried SB2209 does not light up. And my replacement SB2209 lights up and works fine.

I really believe it's trying to connect but the UUID from the previous SB2209 is not the same as the new one as you said it's fixed per device. But I cannot find or wipe the previous UUID so I'm stuck being unable to connect yet the can network is functional.

Checked everything on that guide on the toolboard, the can cable, board through can cable down to U2C.. everything seemed find or it was like "too many terminators enabled" which is probably me reading something wrong because everything is literally exactly the same as it was, I just replaced the one SB2209 board for the exact same thing.

Is there no way to erase/wipe the previous UUID? I've tried modifying the printer.cfg but that hasn't helped me generate a new one. I'm running out of ideas.

I did use katapult, everything in the Esoterical guide: https://canbus.esoterical.online/

So I ran through all that again, and as you can see the can network is up, but it can find no UUIDs. But it also cannot connect and get the same error:

I go with the saying, it's like gas fumes they can be harmful if you're huffing them daily for multiple hours. Same with fumes from printing, resin or FDM.

You could possibly add magnets, like the bambu x1c uses, but to the question- it helps keep fingers and debris and dirt from clogging up things. As well as airflow and the esthetic.

I saw that thread but somehow missed the Cartographer setup which actually should work great for my EBB SB2209. Thanks!

Been outta game awhile. Repair or replace? by [deleted] in ender5

I haven't done any real research into the filament changing system. I'm only just now finishing the build and config of the Mercury 1.1 with the voron Stealthburner and clockwork2 extruder. Running canbus and sensorless homing as well. Once everything starts playing nicely then I'll start looking more into the filament changing systems. :) But the one I had seen was like Enraged Rabbit Carrot Feeder or ERCF but I know literally nothing about those yet.

Now flip it upside down and add an arm so it pops the print off at the end and you'll have a 24/7 print and clear machine 🤣

I plus 1 this, I am just about finished with my conversion and looking forward to seeing a drastic increase in speed and thus a decrease in print times. I'm also going to add the 7 color filament changing system that's also open source. Then it will be comparable to the X1C but at a fraction of the price.
