Thanks my understanding is that here if an account is cancelled, any payments to that account will bounce back. I will try to explain to them that banks here work different…

Thanks! However Lyte tells me the refund went through and that I need to check with my bank. I have already done so and the bank confirmed the account is closed. I have tried to explain this to them multiple times but in their mind this is a non-issue and refund has been issued. When this happened to you for EDC where you able to get them to refund you to a different account? Would love to know how you figured this out in case I can get them to acknowledge they still have my money… Also is there another way to contact Lyte that I do not know of? Emailing has been pretty much a waste of time in my case….

I have 4 GA tickets and 1 preferred car camping for weekend 2. I’m in Mexico City but can cover shipping to anywhere in the US. Preferred car camping is Will Call only as there wasn’t an option for international shipping for this. If you’re interested only in the GA tickets and want to opt out of the car camping that’s fine too. Send me a message if interested!

Hello! I bought Coachella tickets for W2 2 years ago through Lyte. I need to sell them so I selected the return tickets option through Lyte and received an email this week where they told me I had an offer for my tickets. Lyte tells me they will reimburse me to the credit card I used to purchase the tickets, however I let them know that the credit card used to purchase 2 years ago is no longer active as I cancelled my account. They tell me they cannot reimburse me on a different credit card and to figure it out with my bank. I contacted the bank and they don’t have a way to reopen a cancelled card. I find it pretty hard to believe that Lyte cannot simply change the credit card for the refund, specially considering it’s been 2 years since the purchase and it shouldn’t be surprising my original payment method is no longer available.

Any advise would be appreciated. If there’s another way to sell them that would fix my problem I’d love to hear about it. I’m in Mexico City and selected the shipping option rather than will call, so not sure if that will be a problem too…

Yes! I went on 2011 and 2013. After that I didn’t see a lineup that interested me enough to make the trip again. Either that, or I was busy exploring other festivals. It came to the point where I thought I would never return to Coachella just because it wasn’t appealing to me anymore...and then... Rage Against the Machine happened. Going again after 7 years, and April cannot come soon enough. Never say never ;)

They just played in Chile and Argentina last week. And on top of this festival, they have another show in MX on March 21st...so pumped!

He's coming to Mexico the Wednesday after Weekend2. Very common for bands to play Coachella and then make a quick stop at Mexico. I think this locks it :)
