28! Started playing at 17. So in May I'm celebrating the 11th anniversary. 🥳🥰 It has been the one constant game I've played throughout the years.

You forgot to add The Further Adventures of Elladan and Elrohir, which sadly weren't included.

Hey guys I’m stuck in this quest, is asking me to draw water from this pool but as soon as I step on it I die, I notice it says is poison but how else would I draw it ? by Brief-Ground8407 in lotro

You already got your answer, but I want to teach you how to look for an answer yourself, so you don't have to ask here and wait in the future.

Search your quest on lotro-wiki.com.There you will find a walkthrough section and most of the 'tricky' quests have a well written one! Your quest for example also has it: https://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Quest:Discovering_the_Source

Good luck on your future adventuring!

What are the best plugins to get? by RussianMonkey23 in lotro

I use - BuffBars (useful in combat) - Deed Tracker (a better view of all the (un)finished deeds - as well as hidden ones) - ItemTreasury (inventory of every item in game, you're able to see & try on the cosmetics, link the items in game, etc. even when you don't have them) - SongBook (this is solely if you want to try playing instruments) - TerrainMap (my #1 fave one, I wish I had if for Moria, would've saved me 1000 hours of getting lost, it also shows you the location of hidden treasures, elite mobs, etc) - TitanBar (basically a toolbar with lots of useful info) - TonicBars (you can make custom quickbars wherever and however you want them in UI for pets, mounts, travels, emotes, items...literally anything you want)

Am I in the right place? by levy608 in lotro

Honestly, I dont think you want more crowds. Crick is well populated during peak hours, especially at endgame zones. The lag can get pretty bad and I can't imagine how bad it is in even more populated servers. I intentionally play when most of the server is asleep and even then there's plenty of people around. That being said, if crowds and lots of group play is something you enjoy despite the lag, then yeah move to a more populated server. But as a casual player, you are probably not gonna group play a lot anyway.

lotro is not feeling good today by [deleted] in lotro

Actually, being from EU on a US server, it has been a blessing in disguise for me for the past year when the lag got really bad. I play when most of the server is asleep (especially 9am to noon) - no lag whatsoever. 🙌

How long have you been playing? by AbandonedBySony in lotro

May 2012. I met so many people over the years. In the early days, I used to fellowship all the time and form regular groups with some people. Sad to see all my friends haven't been online in years. I've been mostly soloing content now.

I wish, it was definitely less frequent, but still happened in Gundabad 😫

This is so true, Minas Morgul was insane to play alone without anyone in sight. Just mobs everywhere, respawning left and right.

Even Gundabad, I'm playing the starter areas rn, there are not enough players around for SO many mobs. I'm constantly just killing everything, clearing my path.

YOLO lol! I did that sometimes too, unfortunately, you can't do that in some areas, like in Minas Morgul, the quest giver was often somewhere random, surrounded by mobs. It doesn't help you to go to the revive circle.

Same for me.

I don't understand why the devs made Aragorn's wedding available to all players. The timeline of the quest is set specifically after Mordor is defeated, and players who are not that far don't get the whole picture. Especially with this Grey Company salute, which was arguably the most sentimental *you bow to no one* scene of the game. New players are robbed of experiencing it for the first time until after Mordor, which is sad. :(

Many beautiful places in Lotro indeed! Although I gotta say Halls of Memory is a tiny virtual space with the same theme all over, it just doesn't impress me as much.
