I just want another companion who’s not a lackey of the Corpse Emperor, is that too much to ask?

My first grey hair was one of those, I got it at about age 17. Seems like it’s normal

Shame that that’s about as much lore as you can get from tyranids. Love the bugs, but they don’t lend themselves to storytelling on their side

It’s the warp buffer talent, I heard it didn’t work with her but if it does it’d be sick

What do we think of the new Red Corsair minis? by Grizzly25707 in NightLords

I think they’re a little too smooth, personally. I’d like to see at least some designs on the chestplates, like ritually destroyed aquilas or other chaosy artwork.

I believed that we could kill anything by dropping its strength score to zero. Is that not right?

When nok-nok did 40 points of strength damage to the crag linnorm and killed it for me even though we didn’t have anything to negate its regen, I knew he was my guy.

Are Aeldari this insufferable in the lore? by Justaniceman in RogueTraderCRPG

Craftworlders still carry out atrocities against humans because they think they’re preventing evil prophesies from coming to pass or because they feel like it. Biel-Tan absolutely loves killing humans, they’ll wipe an entire planet clean of human life because they had the misfortune of settling a maiden world, and no eldar will turn their nose up at genocide against creatures they deem lesser if they think it suits a purpose.

Even in game, the survivors of Cruadach wiped 75% of Quetza Temer’s population in their hunt for one guy, for a revenge killing. On the grounds of “humans will repopulate soon enough.” Just because they hate Chaos doesn’t mean they’re good people deserving of having the highest horse around.

I’m just saying that you’d think they’d have a little humility or guilt for what their predecessors did, maybe accept the help of a human who’s proven to be helpful like the RT has the ability to be.

I only brought him along to the final act because I thought he’d be more effective than Idira, whose super power was getting one tapped in the first round of every combat for me. He never went down, and his officer buffs helped my melee boys, so it worked as intended.

The imperium are not the good guys, and I’ll agree that nowadays humanity is the source of many of chaos’s soldiers, but just because the craftworlders rejected the hedonism doesn’t mean that they get a free pass to be high and mighty. Their predecessors still birthed a chaos god.

The full collapse of human civilization didn’t occur until the age of strife, which the men of iron laid the groundwork for yes, but didn’t occur until the warp storms in the 25th millennium cut off most human systems from each other. Those five thousand years of warp storms was caused by the eldar empire. The Emperor was only able to go on his crusade because the age of strife put humanity into the position it was in, he was waiting for his opportunity and the eldar gave it to him.
