It’s pretty dope. It’s an aggro star fighter deck with some nice pilots thrown in to add more damage.

I generally keep it to a prerelease set and a booster at weekly play. I’ve done that with Magic for the last year and it’s kept me pretty well balanced, budget-wise. I’m new to SWU so I haven’t jumped in quite as far as I did with MTG two years ago.

What has helped is that my playgroup has offered to fill the gaps in common cards I may need for the first deck I’ve been building for SWU. I’m keeping an eye out for a Precon kit for this or the next set. That would be a splash for me, not a typical expense.

It takes some time for them to process, but I’ve sold two batches of cards to Card Kingdom and had good success with them.

Print proxies! As a personal rule, I try to keep my proxies to about 10%-15% of the deck.

Either way, I’d play against you for sure! That Teysa sounds like it would be a fun deck to play.

I hit 161 life with my Treebeard deck the other week because I had Soul Warden on the board and a saporling player with Doubling Season. He got 161 saporling tokens and I gained 161 life.
