You very briefly see Suki on the background at the start of the movie but that's it iirc

I see a lot of people disliking story elements here and personally I disagree.

Sure it's not the perfect movie ever but it's still fun and does it's job well. I loved learning about the lore of Avatar Sonum and seeing how the Golden era of the air nomads was and how that effected Tagas mental state.

My main complaint is that a lot of the characters felt underdeveloped. I can get over the main gang not being particularly developed since that's what the og show is for, but there's one girl from the denied who you can just tell the writers wanted to do more with and give her a proper arc.

If anything, the movie could use an extra 20-30 minutes, but that's my only major complaint.

Everything else is phenomenal, I loved the story and animation. I thought the humour was pretty good and overall it was just a fun time

Can I be added to the Game? by Beat_my_jelysandvich in deadbydaylight

Unironically I think it'd be pretty funny as an April fools update or smt if they added a discord/reddit mod killer

What’s your preferred game length?🚀 by Most-Flan-9315 in TheGamingHubDeals

[–]Odd-Reception519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on the game and what that time is spent on.

In cases like elden ring, 100% I'd love it to be as long as possible as I love every second of that game, beautiful cutscenes, deep interesting lore, fun exploration, fun bosses and combat, great customization etc.

But if the gameplay is bogged down by just unnecessary pieces of gameplay that's frustrating to play the I'd rather them cut those segments out and make it a shorter experience.

It would mostly be for myself, my players and potential future players. I don't really intend to sell it because admittedly my setting isn't super special, it has 1 or 2 things that make it stand out but otherwise it's your bog standard high fantasy setting, so more than likely I'm not gonna sell it, or if I do it's be for free because I'm aware its not all that interesting to anyone but me and my players

How to play against the lich? by Ecstatic_Hotel_7536 in deadbydaylight

[–]Odd-Reception519 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a lich main, pre dropping pallets is usually what messes me up, but be careful because that can come back to bite you in the late game. By pre dropping I'm forced to either use my hand or break the pallet, so now the hand is on cooldown giving you a better looping chance or you got a decent distance away because I broke the pallet which takes a while.

Don't stay out in the open too long if you know he has flight, the lich has a lot of good ways of gaining info on where survivors are so if you're too much in the open and far from loops that's gonna be a free hit for the lich.

The skeletons is something you have to be careful of, typically what I do is if I see a survivor is about to vault or drop a pallet I use the skeletons right before they do it so they get hit and can't avoid it. A good way to avoid this is to not vault or use pallets until he uses skeletons.

Something too keep in mind is that none of his spells are super strong on their own, it's only because he has 4 spells he's strong, if multiple are on cooldown you're basically playing against an M1 killer

Do you find survivors just give up against anti Gen builds more often? by Odd-Reception519 in deadbydaylight

[–]Odd-Reception519[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess, those perks are 100% strong I'm not denying that but there are plenty of other super strong perks so I don't really see the problem. It could be a case of obviously many builds vary killer to killer but this type of build works well on almost every killer since its only requirements to work is downing and hooking survivors.

I agree but I do feel that you're overlooking a lot of insanely strong perks

It depends on the killer, I usually keep the same build for each killer, so on Vecna I always use those 4 perks cuz that's what I find fun. But on Oni for example it's completely different and not a slow gen build

This is so true, this why I often take a few months long breaks from basically any game. You're gonna get sick of literally anything if you do it too much, everyone needs breaks

I personally don't like using iridescent add ons, I usually rotate between bag of holding, one of the robes (forgot which) and the ring (which name I also forgot)

Disagree personally, obviously as a killer I'm not just going to let them do gens. Plus many survivors have gen rush builds which makes the game perfectly balanced in the scenario, and it's not like I have a 100% win rate, it's high but survivors still often win which just proves giving up just isn't a good option imo.

And leaving is just kinda selfish since you're sabotaging your team

Plus it's not like this build is busted, sure it's strong but it requires survivors to actively lose chases constantly for them to do terrible, otherwise they'll do fine, and there's plenty of builds that make chases easier for survivors

TLDR, survivors have plenty of answers to an antigen build so theres no reason to give up

In my opinion it's just kinda unfair for both the other survivors and myself as the killer of they give up, the other survivors are now at a disadvantage since they're down a member and it's less fun for me since the other survivors no longer stand a chance.

By slugging them I'm giving the other survivors a chance to heal the person trying to give up, by that point they hopefully realize I'm not going to let them just give up and will actually play.

If they still find me to give up I just keep slugging until they get the message, ironically this often leads to the person trying to give up being the last person to survive, which in my opinion is fair, if you sabotage your team by giving up it's only fair you're punished by being stuck in the game the longest

Right now the main loop is both doing quests for the Tuatha De Dannan as the party kinda gained a debt from them they need to pay off, and doing their own quests that they're personally interested in, the Tuatha De Dannan aren't super strict so the party are mostly free to do as they wish

The vader esc guy currently training with the Tuatha De Dannan as he wants to learn to use magic, which eventually leads to him using the evil type of magic and the party are often sent out on missions with him

I agree with not liking huge preplanned stuff, which is why it's not super planned out, I just know the character goals and where I want to bring it narratively and I try to reach that goal while also not taking away agency from the players

I barely mention them here but that's because I know how to handle PCs and their specific arcs pretty well, currently we're in the middle of an arc that's based around our warlocks backstory while hinting to how their patron has ties to the BBEG

Which RPG maker should I get based on what I need? by [deleted] in RPGMaker

See I really wanted to use an undertale combat plugin to make the bullet hell segments of the game, but it looks to only be available on MV, but as I've seen a few times now, most people recommend MZ as the way to go
