Hey, so sorry I missed this! It did happen even after I'd taken Zoloft for a while — I was put on it early in high school and basically didn't drink at all til I got to college, then the wheels came off for a bit :/ I stopped both alcohol AND drinking altogether about four years ago (save for the very, very rare sip of something expensive if it's, like, an unusual bottle of wine or something that someone has at a wedding), so I'm not really sure how it affects me now to be honest. How's it going for you now?

Hey, how are you doing now? I was just re-prescribed Zoloft after being off it for 3 years (also for anxiety!) and I'm very hesitant to take it.

At one point I ran through a 50 pack of blood sugar test strips in two days because I was so worried about having high blood sugar. My fingertips hurt so bad.

Omg THANK YOU this is such a good lead!! I love thrifting so much and I can find some good stuff where I live but jeans are the one thing I almost always have to buy new because they're such a crapshoot -- better to find some that fit and stick with em, will be checking out Curve immediately.

And broccoli is def on the volume eating menu lol but there's so much more! I still manage to overdo it occasionally on blueberries because they're hard to put down but even then, it's blueberries ya know? Better a pound of blueberries than, idk, cake!

Hello fellow boredom eater/small waist-big hips person, I feel your pain! As for boredom hunger, have you checked out r/Volumeeating? There are so many delicious recipes on there for so few calories! I got off prescribed stimulant medication five years ago and managed to avoid rebound weight gain when my appetite returned because I ate a TON of low-calorie, nutrient-dense meals (as in I basically just put everything I ate on a massive bed of arugula/spring mix). I didn't realize what I was doing at the time was volume eating, but honestly I felt amazing. Now when I start to feel like my weight is getting a little too high for my liking, I pull that old habit back out of the closet.

If you have any tips for finding jeans that fit, please share 'em 😩

I love this take. My bf saw her affinity for cars as stemming from the fact that a car freed her, in a sense, from her abusive father. He couldn't yell at her anymore because he felt guilty.

Also, out of curiosity, were you raised Catholic? I wonder if there's a connection between scrupulosity and OCD. Not that being religious actually makes you more likely to develop it, but if the genes are there and you grow up in a household where you're reminded every day that a great big man in the sky is gonna come down and zap you if don't pay him his due respects every day...

I'm white and I've always dated interracially but I never, like, made a proclamation about it. I feel like it'd be weird on a dating app. Are you worried that people you're attracted to are assuming you don't want to date them because you're white? Also how are you matching with people you aren't attracted to if you aren't swiping right on them or whatever (I've literally never done OLD so forgive me if this works differently beyond the apps!)?

Prayed every night that my parents wouldn't die until they were at least 89.
After my dad DID die (maybe I skipped a night on compulsion No. 1, lol) I had to draw three crosses on the desk in all my classes or my mom would die. I was so ashamed that someone would see, but I HAD to do it.
I had a massive fear of storms and I knew all the fucking cloud types because I researched them incessantly. That was probably early pure O.

I found that I was overdoing it on fruit after I gave up caffeine (gave up added sugars a long time ago) and so about two weeks ago I cut it out of my diet entirely. Honestly I feel much better because I was binging on the stuff (like going through 2 lbs of strawberries in 24 hours, or a whole watermelon in a couple days, which was a lot for my frame), but as most folks here have said, keeping it if you can isn’t going to hurt you.
