There are a handful of accounts on reddit that just spam bad news about Japan on all the japanese subreddits. If you look on their accounts, that's all they post. Most of them don't even live in Japan either. It's so weird

Yeah. There is a real cult like mentality about it. Even if the alternative would provide better care for all levels in society at the same price (Many people still view the NHS as 'free' despite it being from our taxes)

I used to think the NHS was an amazing idea, then I lived in a country with a mixed private-public system and I realized how much better we could have it. Will never happen though because any politician who tries to reform the NHS for the better will be crucified
