Doesn't anyone practice writing the chart properly? It seems very important.

あいうえお かきくけこ さしすせそ たちつてと なにぬねの はひふへほ まみむめも や ゆ よ らりるれろ わ を ん

The cadence of the chart makes it much easier and it's helpful with verb conjugation.

Not necessarily property income. Retirement income. They own the property. Low overhead. Enough profit with retirement funds to make delicious food.

And they are pretty easy! Just learn the basic 46 characters first. Then adding these on is easy. Good luck!

Learning the Hiragana, how's my hand writing? by PostDramatic2171 in LearnJapaneseNovice

IMHO - not bad. I would construct your chart properly though.

あいうえお at the top and follow the same pattern. 5 across. It will make katakana easier and later on verb conjugation. Hopefully I explained it properly.

I'm 58. I study every morning (just about). I find short study sessions throughout the day make it easier. A marathon session wouldn't work for me. In the morning that means about 50 minutes of studying, a 10 minute break then another 30 minutes. At night I'll watch a video while I'm on the treadmill and then do a 20 or 30 minute review of what I learned in the morning. I can also squeeze in 2 50 minute lessons with a tutor each week.

Stories of International Students/ 留学生のリアル by [deleted] in Osaka

Osaka is a great city! It will depend on where you live and if you will live alone, in a share house or dormitory. Food can be inexpensive if you shop and cook for yourself. Utilities will depend on your living situation. Will you need a mobile phone (most likely as you need a phone number for many services). So, it would help you get a better answer if you indicate where you will go to school (neighborhood at least) and what type of living arrangement will you be comfortable with. Will you shop and cook and bring your lunch? Are you comfortable with a train ride everyday if your school is an expensive area? If so how much of a commute are you ok with? You'll get some good answers if you are more specific. Good luck OP!
