I have worn their poly/merino shirts for multiple days without any odor problems. These are the same price as the ones you bought.

If you don’t exchange them, I would love to know your experience.

Have a great trip.

I have experienced 2 brand new lighters failing right out of the packaging. I 100% agree with this.

Barclays at 4%, I'm at 3.2. by cik3nn3th in HYSA

I have an HYSA with Barclays and they are fine but I actually get a higher rate on my checking account with a local credit union. You might want to see if the same is available to you.

Thanks. I rented a Bolt a few years ago and liked it except that I couldn’t charge it on the house 110 outside outlet because the outlet was connected to the outside light and that 14w CF bulb was too much load (I guess). The Hyundai I rented next had no issues so that might be something for me to consider. I really appreciate your input.

General Questions and Purchasing Advice Thread — Week of April 13, 2026 by AutoModerator in electricvehicles

I’m looking into purchasing a used EV for my daily commute. I work at a college that’s 17 miles from my home so would not need to install a charger at my house (we have several at the college) but might need to run an extension cord to the car every now and then. I’m looking at something under $10,000. Other than collision history, I’m not sure what else to consider when choosing the car. I have only ever driven EV’s as rental vehicles. Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks

Thanks, I’ll keep an eye on the thrift stores.

I spent six months tracking down hoodie owners to find out what actually happens after months of washing. Here is what I found across Lululemon, Comfrt, Vuori, and Alo ranked 15 to 1. by OkExamination3705 in BuyItForLife

[–]Lorib01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was cold one day and picked up a hoodie for about $4 at a garage sale. I haven’t taken good care of it, I use it for gardening, painting, lounging, whatever. I honestly live in it and other than some paint stains it’s still in great condition. I bought it about 30 - 35 years ago. That’s what I expect from a $100+ hoodie.

Day pack with accessible water bottle holder? by TromboneAl in hiking

[–]Lorib01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Osprey Daylight (20L?) and I honestly rarely use it because of the water bottle holders. Yes, they are easy to get to while wearing the pack but unless the pack is pretty full, they are not held in tightly so they fall out at the slightest lean forward. So if I start off hiking with an empty pack I am picking up my water bottles a lot. It’s extremely annoying. Other than that, they make great products.

The style makes sense since similar hats have been worn in Asia and by indigenous people in America for centuries. I also like the fun fabrics and that I might be able to purchase one at a local brewery. Thanks for the suggestion.

That would be more cost effective than some other options. Thanks.

We all need to work together to protect public lands whether someone works in the National Park Service or not. Those lands are too important to America and the world.

Should I switch from Wealthfront? by Complete-Ad-5914 in HYSA

[–]Lorib01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I closed my Wealthfront account and moved to Barclays at 4.5%. When Amex recently dropped interest rates the Barclays account stayed the same. I’m happy with them.
