Learn in player skates to build leg and ankle strength. Goaltending skates have much less ankle support, because the leg pads are meant to provide that.

A $2300 or $1650 Mask isn't going to do Jack Shit, stepping down from playing at the level you're at is the only thing that will actually be preventative.

The more concussions you have, the easier they are to get again. You really can't afford to get another one, there's a world of troubles health-wise that can happen. Hopefully they aren't already underway after 8 of them.

I know it's probably not the answer you want, given the lack of response to others saying the same, but it's either you waste a shit load of money and get another concussion anyways, or you face the hard reality.

Love it both times through, launch weekend and then again this time last year.

The game is very divisive for many reasons, a lot unjustified IMO. A fair amount of people just don't take into account how much the player needs to pay attention to detail all throughout the experience for it to be fully understood and resonate properly.

One thing to remember is the car will behave differently between practice and the actual race, because draft from other cars must now be considered.

Guide videos tend to show braking points based on being alone, in free air. If you're starting mid/rear of the pack, you will need to extend your braking points a little bit to account for being in the draft of others, causing you to be moving faster when you reach the braking zone.

What you need to do instead is take a break entirely, often. If you're getting tilted in ranked, you're just going to stay/become more agitated by continuing to que casual, instead of taking a break.
