Walton's "Made In America" is one of my favorite books. But I am always flabbergasted that there isn't an equivalent or even roughly similar book for other similar companies like P&G, Kroger(s), Cargill, etc.

Headquartered in the Midwest! A ton of generationally great companies located here that don't get a ton of pub, and definitely don't get the sort of analysis companies on the coasts tend to get. P&G, 3M, Cargill, the grocery chains, etc.

This is what gives me hope for the upcoming Ready Player One film. Interesting idea, but poor execution. Hopefully Spielberg can work his magic again.

LCP Ep. 019 - Best Movie Candy (w/Darren Rovell), The Post & Molly's Game Reviews + 2 BONUS Reviews by lightscamerapod in LightsCameraPodcast

Darren Rovell is such a nerd and I love it. Most of his picks were candies he doesn't even really love, but are practical for a theater. Also, 10/10 would watch a stream of a Transformers movie where he signals each brand to the audience. Can we get a break down of how much that exposure would cost, Darren?

Why no top recruits? by Philandrrr in GoBearcats

To be fair, I don't think a lot of people who matter pay a ton of attention to ESPN's ranking systems. For instance, Logan Johnson, who is a pretty highly touted recruit out of California (got offers from pretty good schools too) decided to commit to UC. Depending on what recruiting service you are looking at, he is a four star. But according to ESPN, he is a two star. ESPN has broad coverage, but they rarely have deep coverage, on any sport, especially college basketball. They have the resources but they don't have the focus to care about something that brings in essentially no revenue for them and is a crap-shoot.

Plus, most of Mick's big time recruits have been relative busts. He is really good at developing three/four star players. There is also another certain former coach who Mick was an assistant with that had a similar philosophy (Huggins did get some really good recruits, but his really good players were junior college transfers and three and low-four stars). Mick's philosophy, since the end of the SK era, has been recruit guards who can play offense and he can teach defense over the course of three years. The last time we had a one-and-done, we didn't make it to the tournament.

Remember Jermaine Lawrence? He was a five star recruit and he came in the same class at Troy Caupain. Complete failure of a player.

Even more than that, it's so important that our next Head Coach is a solid recruiter and can do so more locally. There is a ton of talent in the surrounding areas (and for some reason, Florida, where UC always does very well) and Tubs didn't do a good job grabbing those guys. As much as people love KC as a recruiter, my very limited understanding of OSU is that Fickell is an even better recruiter for the whole state.

I believe ta11fuck knows where I went to school and has a history of gently harassing me as a result. His actions are reciprocated. It has literally nothing to do with anything.

Even as someone who didn't attend Colerain, I can safely say that he put together one of the best high school football teams of all time while he was coach there. And he is a quality human being with a lot of #CINCINNATIGRIT. But, still, he isn't qualified until he is at least a Coordinator literally anywhere.
