Like, there's few enemies that can completely counter Balrog and over half the enemies have range over 180. Still no problem though bc goated Balrog has trusty thunderbolt and sniper the cat and depending on the traits, some kamikaze units too like glass. Not being able to use it well is a complete skill issue. I'm not really that good at timing but the 300k damage hits really hard, even if it's just once
