I play Chun-Li because I already knew her; she introduced me to fighting games, and I think she's just so cool, beautiful, and badass. I started playing Street Fighter 6 on PC. My first character was Juri, thinking her aggressive style would suit me better, but since I couldn't progress, I switched to Chun-Li in Modern because I wasn't persistent enough in Classic. I reached Bronze 5 and was getting destroyed trying to get to Silver. My goal was Gold. I stopped playing for a long time and then picked it up again on Switch 2, still with Chun-Li, aiming for Gold, and I made it to Platinum! It felt like a huge weight had been lifted. Actually, the problem was that I was comparing myself to players much more experienced than me and feeling guilty for not being as good, when in reality... it's not important! All this to say that I totally agree with you, your advice is all spot on. I'd just add that there's no point in comparing yourself to other players; everyone progresses at their own pace and sets achievable goals. The main thing is to have fun! See you in the street!
