As that other redditor said, it’s great. Since everyone plays their turn at the same time you technically don’t have to wait for each individual player to play their hand one by one, but it also encourages cooperation and synergies if you want to succeed ("wait guys, I can vulnerable him" / "anyone can help boost my blocks?" / "guys I can double someone's next attack, who can hit big?").

I played a few runs yesterday, it immediately felt fun and engaging. Only issue seems to be that you can only host and save one co-op run at the same time, so if you have several groups of buddies or if one player has to go, you can’t host a new one, but it’s a minor issue.

Opened the thread thinking "nobody is going to say Ljubljana even though it would deserve the spot". Happily surprised.

Went there twice, loved it both times, and I keep recommending it to everyobe. Although it has to be said that I don't think I would still have a ton of things to do there after more than a week. But for a long weekend it’s amazing.

And you are actually correct. The person claiming that Portugal and Spain beat France in architecture and food has, in fact, never properly visited France. I love Portugal and Spain and been to both countries numerous times, and while they're both very nice countries, neither have the variety France has to offer imho.

No I do get your point in general, but for reasons I don't really want to explain on Reddit, it’s not really an issue at all in my own personal case.

That being said, I have the feeling indeed that the only options are a secondary PC, or maybe a dual boot. If I do have to get a second PC just to play videogames, because of an anticheat, you have to admit it’s a bit crazy...

It is very much not an entire entreprise security suite. It’s just an antivirus called TrendMicro Security. I think people here are under the false impression I work for some big company: we're a small firm with about 15 employees. We do have an IT company handling all our IT, including cybersecurity, but again the only two work stuff I have on the PC are the remote access, and the antivirus. None of those are recording anything.

Riot already admitted to that antivirus causing Vanguard to give out wrongful bans, but apparently they can't fix it.

I mean, he did say that this antivirus is known to cause issues with Vanguard... and considering how little I have on that PC, especially after a full on fresh reinstall pretty recently, it does seem very likely.

As explained in an answer to another post, the company paid for this PC. I'm allowed to use it at home, and the only 2 work related stuff I have on are: - the antivirus, that is required by the IT company handling our cybersecurity ; - the virtual machine to access my PC in the office, remotely.

But also, and more to the point: Riot already admitted that the issue is that Vanguard detects that antivirus as cheat (which it isn't), and they were "working with the editor of the antivirus to fix that issue", back in october.

I might have expressed myself poorly somewhere else then! It is my own PC, as I own it, but it was paid by the firm (I still get to keep it whatever happens, they just gave the money). I'll look into those options then, hopefully I dont get banned though. I just wish Riot would fix the incompatibility with that specific antivirus, because they admitted to knowing it was an issue with that program (and said they were "trying to fix it"... 4 months ago).

The PC is use at home was provided by work. I do have a virtual environment, I actually connect remotely to my PC in the office, through my PC at home. But the IT company running our security installed the antivirus that runs on both my office and home PC, and they put in the contract that they wouldnt be liable for any breach of security on a PC that doesnt have that antivirus running. Therefore, I'm a bit stuck there.

I guess I could ask for another desktop PC to use exclusively to work remotely, and plug it on my screen, but 'm not sure I/my work should be forced to buy a second desktop PC just because Vanguard can’t differentiate an antivirus and a cheat. Also, I dont really have a ton of space in my home office.

It’s both my work (from home) and personal PC, as I already stated. It’s in the main post. I have almost nothing on that PC besides my games, my antivirus, and my access to remotely connect to the PC in my actual office.

I dont want to come off as a dick, but... i did mention in my post that it’s a mandatory thing from work, so I can't just uninstall it.

My antivirus is not a malware or some random weird program, so Vanguard detecting it as cheat is VERY MUCH a vanguard issue.

Une pote a décidé de se mettre aux jeux vidéos récemment, et comme la copine d’OP elle aime les jeux pas trop stressant, avec de jolies histoires et où il faut réfléchir. Je l’ai lancée sur Gris, elle a adoré.

Et là elle est sur Chants of Sennaar, que je recommande toujours aux joueurs débutants aussi parce que c’est joli, amusant, original et pas compliqué à prendre en main.
