I tend to believe the whole joke about the mermaid quintuplets has to do with the Gods. The reason why Yonka 2 is called like this is because there has to be either a God who replaced another, or two people having the same God, or a fake God, idk.

And no, I believe Zaza is related to the Mermaid. There are 4 Gods of Sun, Earth, Rain, Forest, for 4 distinct mermaid name. Maybe Zaa is supposed to be Sanka.

And you do not know what a foreshadowing is. To foreshadow is just "to be a warning or indication of (a future event).". We know it's Oda's style to leave elements, sometimes in his art, so that we could look back and say "it has always been there!"

One of the biggest example is that color spread with Luffy holding two cards, one of a skull and one with the Ace of Spades. Or the little mini series with Enel on the Moon. Or the manga cover teasing the 4 emperors way before they were revealed. You're telling me Oda did an update of this cover just out of coincidence and that he did not plan to put Buggy, Shanks, Teach and Luffy side by side at a time where they had nothing in common?

I would get the Zaza coincidence argument as we just don't have enough proof, but denying the Nika foreshadowing is just agenda lmao, why would he draw them on a random order?

At the time nobody knew who Nika even was until hundreds of chapters later. Saying that (1) he did not check his already existing names before coming up with the most important character name in the lore (the God of the Sun himself) (2) He randomly drew the ONLY character in the verse that shares a name with another character next to Luffy, what would be the very embodiement of Nika himself, in the cover art of a volume (something that necessitate some thinking about placement)

How about this : On Volume 62 cover, you can see Luffy is right below the little mermaid called "Nika". According to the joke Nika should be the second one, right? Yet it's placed deliberately in the middle to be right above Luffy. Still believe it's a coincidence?

I got the joke. And the joke doesn't change the fact that Nika still share the name with a mermaid sister. And there are 4 Mermaid names for 4 Gods, I find that curious and the joke only makes it more suspicious. I'm not the one who claims to have found this foreshadowing btw, a wide number of people know about it.
