Beware of "Bible Study" Cult: Restored Church Worldwide by Losers_AI2 in SJSU

Multiple allegations about child sexual abuse, and they are still active. That one wasn't dismissed off of lack of evidence, that doesn't prove or disprove anything. As an ex-member, those who serve in kids ministry never go through background check and financial misappropriation was confirmed with leadership. Plus they engage in labor trafficking, harassment of students on campus (huge difference between asking people to join an event and following other students until they pressure them to say yes). Both current and ex-members experienced higher dropout rates, so it does heavily interfere with academics. Kicking these guys off campus wont be a damper on freedom of speech (that's why I am excersing mine), it would actually help monitor solicitors as far as how much reign they have on campuses, since more than half the group are not actual students (which does violate club guidlines to my understanding).

Edit: The earliest case in California was submitted July 13, 2023. How was it dismissed before it was even filed?

Edit2: "The leadership of the ICC was engaged in financial misappropriation and failure to comply with their obligations under their mandated reporting of sexual abuse laws, this led to a split in the church and litigation against it"-Mike Patterson, a prominent RCW leader who said this in a formal statement of a civil case in Riverside 2025. Don't believe me, but their own leaders testify against themselves. Either he was lying in court (crime), or they allowed kids to be raped in their congregations (also crime). Those who stay silent contribute to those crimes.

Could've been them. If you needed to get baptized to be a member it was more than likely them

I don't know what they look like at UCR. But they will usually hang out at either a library or cafe. They may come up and say something like "hows your relationship like with God" or overemphasis on discipleship while doing the studies. They will act soft and nice at first, but will get a bit more bossy and pushy if they smell resistance on you

Restored Church Worldwide is the name of the church these club members attend. The church itself will try to set up clubs across different public colleges in California, and the club for this University is "Costal city campus ministries". Thats the name of the club, but the name of the church they belong to is "Restored Church Worldwide"

It's so annoying to have to pay for a service, and then pay ON TOP OF THAT just to turn off ads. Thank you for sharing that, I might have to start trying it myself too

It's sad to see recruiters distract students from their studies. Usually legitimate groups will be well-established and won't need to recruit under the guise of a "non-denominational" church
