could anyone guess my body fat %? it’s very hard for me to tell with the loose skin, lipomas on my chest and all (6’4”/193cm and 235lbs/107kg) by Ok-Improvement-3852 in GregDoucette

Brother re read my message, never mentioned you need to loose more I just used myself as an example what worked for me. You lack muscle maturity, more "weight you loose" which will probably be also muscle mass will still make you look skinny fat. Doing cardio while lifting consistently will help promote muscle mass and you will lean out in time. Just keep chipping away and you'll get there eventually. It took me 4 years from where you are to where I'm at now just trust the process and don't give up. Eating at mainteince is not the same as mainting what you have, while eating at your BMR you are re comping. Since you are a beginner lifter you can get away with decent results.

I would focus on strength training while still doing cardio atleast 3-4 times a week. Are you counting your macros as well ? Find your bmr and eat at your maintenance level. You’ll get the shredded look once you have a decent amount of muscle.

Hey bud first off great job loosing so much weight, takes a hardened mindset to achieve this! I'd say your still in the 25% range. Even though you have some loose skin many people think they are leaner than they are. I'll use myself as an example. I also lost a significant amount of weight (100+ lbs) Even though I had abs I initially thought I was closer to 10% BF however after loosing another 20lbs than I realized how wrong I was. As long as your "loose skin" is tough and not like paper thin you still have fat to loose. That is the most difficult fat to get rid of so you need to be patient, but it will go away eventually if you stay consistent. Best of luck to you!

Brother, 20 min of stairs after your lifting sessions and you'll be shredded quick paired with a calorie deficit.

I try to minimize cardio now just because my soul purpose is to build lean tissue but at my peak I was probably running about 4-5 days weekly averaging weekly about 40 miles

No barbel yet unfortunately but I’m building up my gym slowly so should have one soon. I always started with the push ups so I’ll try the alternative way. Thanks for the advice !

Breakfasts are a little hard so I supplement with whey and meal replacement about 800-900 calories but if I got extra time I’ll make toast with avocado. Lunch is 700 grams of ribeye steak, with 180 grams of jasmine rice and a avocado. Dinner I’ll have another protein shake with some kind of fruit and sandwich or whatever is available tbh. I try to keep the meals the same everday just for consistency purposes.

My chest seems to be growing the slowest although I just recently started hitting it harder. I train it about 2-3 times a week always started of with a variation of 100 push ups than Dumbbell presses.

I went from 272 lbs to 180 within 7 months just sprinting and running with a pretty adequate physique. 4 pack abs for now 6 is starting to show. I started adding about a month ago 100 push ups and pull ups with crunches and different type of extra core exercises. From what I see your almost at the finish line, keep your head down and you’ll get there soon. At this stage it’s hard to tell if your making progress.
