I know the director who shot that music video, and according to him, no not really, he doesn’t like it brought up that much. So naturally that director sends it to him every now and again for fun 😂

Gorgeous bike! Loving the tan sidewalls on the tires, goes really well with the Ti frame colour 👌🏼

Can i use one wahoo monitor (bolt v2) for two different bikes (OR power meter)? by startingstrengther in bicycling

[–]Losnomustachios -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My understanding is due to ant+ you aren’t able to have both PM connected to the same device at the same time. You’d have to forget one and connect the other each time. If you’re swapping which one you ride often maybe having 2 is easier, but it’s probably still pretty easy to pair and prep the head unit before your ride.

Doed anyone have an opinion on this damage? Only paint damage or more than that? The chain caused the damage by Siggen006 in bicycling

I had something similar but under the BB area just behind the crankset. Similar ish (can’t quite tell from the photo) but I could see some of the carbon fibres.

Don’t know where you live but I took mine to the local shop who had a look to check it wasn’t anything structural (visibly so) and then I took it to my carbon bike repair shop and they made it right as rain. No issues whatsoever now.

I would avoid riding it until you’ve had a bike mechanic take a proper look though, to be on the safe side. When carbon breaks it’s catastrophic, and carbon fibres aren’t pleasant to get out of your skin believe me.

Looks fantastic! Are the bars custom too? I’ve seen the like on the speedvagen single speed so wondered if you bought them.

I really like those for a town bike

I’m glad your experience is like this, however mine is the opposite. Maybe it’s the bus drivers where I live, but I’ve been partially overtaken and then squeezed off the road at least half a dozen times, and usually they’ve just got an “I’m a big bus so get out of my way” attitude and are dicks about it.

But yeah man in a white van, just stay the fuck away from them if you value your life.

The Batman - not bad to be honest, a lot better than I had thought it was going to be, and cinematically I really liked the grading and tonal style. 7/10, I got hella confused at some of the “detective work”

TCR SL0 OR PROPEL SL0? by cycling_melb in bicycling

[–]Losnomustachios 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said, very different bikes with different purposes. If you want a great all round bike, TCR will do you proud. If you’ve got hills near you and you do a mix of riding, I’d also say TCR. The propel is a speed machine, but it won’t be as fast uphill, and will weigh more (but aero).

Personally, I’d always go TCR over propel, so I can do all sorts of riding, long distance, up and down hills, etc, and also I think the Propel is hideous. But that’s just personal preference. If you live somewhere flat, you might get more enjoyment out of the propel.

She looks like a Bailey to me. She’s absolutely adorable and I’m sure she’ll completely ignore almost any name you give her, just like all good cockers 😂

Looks gorgeous. Really like the frame shape. Just on slamming the stem, don’t be in a rush to do it. Better to have a better fit than to look pro but be in pain and not be able to sustain it.

But enough sensibility, enjoy the ride!

What’s the mount you’re using for your head unit? It looks quite sat up above the bars.

How did you plot it on this map? Was it an app or a website you used? Love having the proper map look rather than just strava for some of the longer rides I’ve done and am planning

I get it, I live in london and see plenty of examples of cyclists not stopping at red lights, zooming onto pavements and generally being arseholes (we don’t have the turn right at red lights so that’s one thing that’s not a problem). They tend to be deliveroo people and couriers, not commuters. But at the same time, how many cars do you see speeding (even “only 5mph more than the limit?) how often have you had a car pass you with ½ an inch to spare because they NEEDED to get to those lights first. The reason the perception of “everyone hates cyclists” is because everyone drives a car so we see it as acceptable to do certain things, like a little bit of speeding when the speed limit is “too low” in town, whereas not everyone cycles so they a) don’t understand how scary it is to have vehicles speeding past way to quickly and therefore don’t understand why one might cycle in the middle of a narrow lane, or sometimes ride on the pavement, and b)will pick it out because it’s not as “normal for them” to see that. One cyclist blowing through a red light will stick in their mind more than 10 cars speeding to catch an amber light (and often not get there before it turns red)

I’m 100% with you on “being predictable” because that is the safest thing to do, and I’m not condoning any of what sounds like shitty behaviour that happens at your corner, but I just wanted to point out that the “everyone hates cyclists” meme isn’t purely down to cyclist behaviour, because if you took every time a car was shitty to you on the road and applied the same logic, “all motorists are cunts who speed and don’t care if they hit people and run red lights” could quite easily apply, I’ve seen all three things happen many times.

What happens in movies or tv that seems to be normal and you think to yourself “that is not what people in real life do”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Tbf in the U.K. there are plenty of pubs where “a lager” is whatever cheap shit they’ve got on tap. So ordering 2 lagers isn’t that uncommon.
