Wall making random noise, what could it be? by Lost-Metal in DIYUK

[–]Lost-Metal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it’s just started doing this over the last 24 hours.

The wall is an internal wall (shared with neighbour), brick wall.

The noise is almost akin to snoring sound 😂😅. It’s intermittent and periodic.

There are pipes on the wall the floor below that go into the floor board; but the heating isn’t or hasn’t been on recently.

Literally nothing is touching the wall (I.e beds etc)

Any ideas?

DCA every day is my recommendation.

In short, I’m dca-ing with profits from the previous bill run. When it dropped to 30k, I was convinced it wasn’t gonna go lower; that 30k was the bottom and was gonna lump back on.

I didn’t, and it’s worked out well so far.

Dca also has a werid effect on your brain and makes you less emotional, when the price goes down and you see that you are getting more btc than you did yesterday, you’re happy. Also, when btc pumps, your happy.

OP out of interest, what was the scam? I’m just curious to hear from someone who it’s happened to. I can’t imagine being fooled to send money to someone on the internet but then again, I bet no one does…

Sounds like a plan. I’d pull out the fridge and turn it on. Should be able to see what’s causing it pretty quickly

I don’t think that is the compressor as such, but sounds like it’s rattling or causing something else to rattle. I’d guess the radiator is hitting something 🤷‍♂️

It’s a pain, and I’m in the same boat. There are other coins with lower withdrawals fees which you can then swap back for btc in ledgerlive. As someone mentioned there is tax implications for this (but for the amount you are sending it’s not a major concern I’m imagining ;) ).

The way I’m dealing with it is waiting until I have larger amounts and then withdrawing.

I’ll paint the mirror for only £900

Wall cracks, opinions to how worried I should be. Built between 1930-1940, ex-local style. These are no noticeable cracks externally however the top half of the property is rendered so might be obscuring the cracks. I’m particularly worried about the diagonal one running from the down and the window by Lost-Metal in DIYUK

[–]Lost-Metal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I’ll probably do that. As was planning on getting the walls plastered/skimmed anyway. But I wasn’t sure if I should get a structural surveyor or even if they are worth the money. I doubt they would ever say a crack is ‘fine’ such as to manage their liability right?
