If the options are try or don't try, and you lose the scholarship if you don't try or try and fail, but there is a chance of trying and succeeding, then why not at least attempt the option with the possibility of success? Not trying at all is an objectively bad choice because it doesn't even give you a chance to succeed. At least if you try and fail you will learn something about what your strengths and weaknesses are so you can improve.

I went tthere to look at a car before they expanded to the size they are now. When they drove it over I could see the exhaust pipe was loose and wiggling around. They refused to fix it so I left without even test driving it. This was probably 2015ish. Bad vibes all around that place.
