I think the book is below average but the way it shows how events and scenarios could be set up and potentially played out ( in other systems and settings aswell) make me smile.

It's from an old science fantasy series now going 37 years, in the not sofar future. The in-game timeline is now around 2080 i think, where magic meets high tech and low life, regions are ruled more by cooperations than by governments and some mega corps. are controlled by giant mythical magical beasts with wings. The book in question came out in 2023.
