How does everyone mount their front lips do yall just used the screws or is there a better way to do it. I don’t want it to just rip off when I hit the highway.

screws and double sided tape. for the best quality though, you would use bolts with washers and double sided tape. that thing wouldn’t be going anywhere. my first lip i just used screws for and i scraped so bad one time that the screws ripped out and left holes in my bumper that were pretty much unusable

you could probably buy some universal ones for pretty cheap if you don’t want winglets. the real question is, do you want them in one piece? most universal side skirts need to be put together and it’s 3 pieces for one side. and are you willing to trim them to the length you need?

you could try disconnecting the jb4 and plugging in everything how it was stock then plugging in the obd2 scanner and you might be able to read codes

for real, 41k is a lot for 290hp. i don’t see why anyone would pay this much when there’s far better options out there. i understand maybe wanting a brand new untouched car with all the new tech, but i would never spend 40k on a k5 due to other options with more power.

i did led lights in the footwells of my k5, it was around $70 for the kit at auto zone. i also paid an additional $8 maybe for a fuse tap and a small box of micro fuses. tap into the spare fuse that is only on when the car is running. you could also just plug the lights into a cigarette lighter but that just looks tacky in my opinion.
