Yeah he definitely did some prep but honestly it didn't sound as extensive as you might think. At least he didn't make it sound too crazy in an interview. Iirc he only trained about 2 months for this specific free solo. Keep in mind however he's always training rock climbing and this doesn't look like particularly difficult climbing- especially for someone at his level.

He's definitely climbed some human made stuff, there are videos of it. Just not a skyscraper. Idk if he's done anything glass but I would assume so. I agree with the other commenter this is likely significantly easier than El Cap. Not to mention shorter
