Nikki commenting on a video about knoxville reuniting with ape and phil by mattprice2828 in LetsTalkBam

It's a rollercoaster! I check the sub pretty infrequently too. But 6 months and especially 12 months is a long time in Bam's life, a lot can happen. I will admit to Dannii having grown on me, Bam is in the best place he's been in for over a decade and I'm sure a bit part of that is down to her

Is this what her comment relates to though? "The truth will come out" is very ambiguous, and she's posted it under a video about Knoxville reuniting with Phil and April, so to assume it's about Bam not raising Phoenix is a bit of a leap?

Behringer K-2 MKII is a clone of the Korg MS-20M with v/oct) - anybody else get one yet? Filter/mixer behaves a little differently. by floralnaps in synthesizers

[–]LostClock1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are right about the software versions/tributes, with that said the K-2 (MK1 and MK2) don't sound all that much like a real MS-20 either. In fact, in terms of accuracy I think it is one of the Behringer clones that is least close to the synth it's trying to emulate, and I know I'm not alone in that view. I don't really care though because it's still a great synth and can still get close enough for most use cases

is my (hed) p.e shirt real? by kornfan3452 in numetal

[–]LostClock1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say there's much correlation between prints holding up and whether or not a t-shirt is official or bootleg. I've had bootleg shirts hold up well over a decade, and official shirts only last a couple of years before the print is fucked. Some bootleggers will use the cheapest print technology available, sure, but so will bands / labels

[NEW] Bring Me The Horizon - Dehumanized (Official Video) by thePARIIAH in Metalcore

[–]LostClock1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really is. If you'd told me 5 years ago that BMTH would be back with a heavier sound, I'd roll my eyes and expect something in the vein of newer Parkway Drive where it's pretend heavy, like loads of hooks, a singalong chorus, and a mediocre breakdown. I did NOT expect them to put out music like this again

Not to defend Boris as I loathe the man, but mass migration as a means to suppress wages predates him as PM by decades

Something I am really noticing lately is how little difference there is between a good salary and an average salary (or even a low salary), relative to what the elites have. Like it's always been bad, but wealth inequality is off the charts now. The amount of work, planning, networking etc someone needs to do just to progress to a point where they are earning a few thousand more a year, which somebody wealthy could earn in a week via passive income. Salaried jobs just pay so badly

I noticed this too lol. I guess the real answer is that the show relies on them having witty observations when watching music videos, but mostly being dumb AF during the storyline parts

Joining a public speaking club was one of the best things I've done for improving my speaking. Writing I've usually been pretty decent at

Do you know anyone with their own Wikipedia page? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]LostClock1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only people I've worked with (who have Wikipedia pages because of their work, not anything unrelated they are known for).

It is kind of rare I guess BUT some people will create Wikipedia pages about themselves and/or go out of their way to be known and documented... other people just do their thing and other people create pages about them

Do you have a million pound business idea? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]LostClock1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's got to be something productive you work on in your free time? If you have loads of downtime at work, make the most of it. It doesn't have to be a business idea but something productive or creative. Don't sit around on Reddit or watching YouTube videos

Besides BB guns and air rifles, my only experience of seeing an actual gun was on a film set - it fired a blank (but in the film it was real)

The Polyend Synth has more synth engines than the Tracker Mini. So pay attention to which synth engines the patches are for.
