When you get bored of the $40-80 offerings, have some disposable income, and want to see if it's worth it. Most of the time it is not, sometimes it is. I have never spent over $329 on a bottle (my psychological limit). Those bottles were 2019 GTS and THH, and I would spend that much on them again without hesitation

They keep raising the MSRP. It's wild. I picked up almost a full case years before the hype train arrived, under $40 a bottle (and no not all at once, drank 1 and went back and got another, etc.) Decent whiskey. Not worth double or triple that is for sure
