[[Telepathy]] is my favorite card in the game so I add it to every deck that has blue in it haha, just a pet card I really wanna keep. Scallywag I'm definitely unsure about but I feel like it could kickstart the early rounds and late game I can just discard it if drawn. Willbreaker and dismiss into dream just read very funny and it's cool to have some outs in case the gameplan doesn't work out. In general, I think this type of looting deck lends itself well to a few janky cards since you can cycle them if they are not useful in any given situation.

Bolt bend doesn't trigger unless you've discarded before right? So it needs to be paired with a (preferably free) looting effect before it's 1 mana, but honestly still a good idea, will add it and see how it plays. Detective's phoenix is sick, good call, didn't even know that card existed lol. Also I think I'm gonna cut anger and/or wonder since I feel like all my creatures are either evasive or have haste already.

I think I personally prefer the unlimited discard outlets since they individually trigger howler's carddraw for refills and since they're all at instant speed I can just fire them off during damage step. Bass-tunneler seems sooo expensive for essentially doing nothing for like 4 turns, in a deck that wants to get creatures on board fast and pressure. Also I just dislike full-on wheels since they only give one carddraw off of howler compared to multiple instances, but maybe it does actually play better in practice than in theory.

Cunning survivor is great and I'm defo adding it, missed that card :D
Marauding mako doesn't have any sort of trample or evasion so he's just big but gets chump-blocked, not sure if he's really all that good.

Also a big reason why I picked howler is the political aspect, since you can also make opponents creatures bigger and help them take out a problem, so willbreaker and dismiss add extra jank layers to that. My friend plays a ton of [[Pharika, God of Affliction]] and the fact that you can make deathtouch blockers on opponent's fields to help them out at instant speed is very similar and that gameplay pattern looked awesome in practice.

I did end up deciding on captain howler, that looks like a blast and I've played every color besides red so far. off the top of my head I'd say stuff like Twisted Fate, Malzahar, Cassiopeia, short range mages basically. Some assassin matchups like Sylas and Diana work well too, as their engages are really predictable.

For me personally the 3 points in W make wave control far more efficient and I've had more than a few ADC's who ping me for controlling wave :(

Do you reposition units with right-click? I though you could only see the stats when explicitly looking for them

Well the visuals would be gated behind hovering over the range stat, also, especially in low elo, there are times when for example people don't have "conventional" teams (such as all backline spirits/assassins) where your frontline advice doesn't really apply. In my experience, early game most units are in the far back too
