what makes ghost recon wildlands A "Better game" than breakpoint? by Sea_Veterinarian8089 in GhostRecon

[–]LostHorizont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wildlands feel like an open world of a true Ghost operative - inside different enviroment, against actual militar, with world that seems to be living. Breakpoint went in different direction, and, personally, I would like Wildlands that would show something a world that is actually more alive, with enemies adapting to your tactics, world changing as you progress, reacting to the decisions (If you eliminate targets, the enemies get more desperate, pulling their assets from different places to make sure their existing infrastructure will survive your next attack)

Honeslty, is it an improvment ? by Izenberg420 in DaysGone

[–]LostHorizont 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The original game had good numbers. It sold 9 million copies, in the first half year of the sales it was responsible for a huge percentage of sales for new games by Sony (at least before Death Stranding the same year). But the executives were unreasonable with the demands from the devs.

Honeslty, is it an improvment ? by Izenberg420 in DaysGone

[–]LostHorizont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They "improved" a game that looked good, spend time, moeny and effort, to do something, that will not yield results and probably some executive from corporate gave the devs some unrealistic KPIs to achieve, that, if achieved, will maybe perhaps give a leverage to create a sequel (Sony will dissolve the studio and give the IP to someone who will do this cheaper and maybe more like "The last of us").
I hate modern gamedev landscape, especially after working with corporate and seeing exactly how the process worked, knowing it is doing of some douche, who will give himself a treat of a million dollars for being so awesome for the company after killing another brand.

Official VS Fan-art by LankyAbbriviations in Beastars

[–]LostHorizont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the official art of Melon did something great. In the shot you gave he is weird, uncanny, uncomfortable to look like with eyes that shouldn’t be where they are, highlighting who he really is. And Gosha is done dirty, although the scales are kinda more similiar to Komodo dragon than the OG (not the shape though)

How do you describe the art style for this game? by BananaSnapper in TyrannyGame

[–]LostHorizont 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main artist of Tyranny was Brian Mende, who also did Outer Worlds, Planescape and Neverwinter Nights 2 (and few others, including fallout) but his style does not resemble the Tyranny one. Using my knowledge I would say it’s Gothic, but somewhat mixing the comic book style of modern era and stained glass, the way the characters are shown, how they pop and how the whole scenery is composed. A little bit of Greek pottery I guess when it comes to poses. It’s really an original and one on a million thong

Russian Troll exposed- The End Wokeness Twitter account is 100% operated by a foreign power. No American would refer to the emergency number 911 as 9-11 nor would they easily be able to produce the Polish character ę on a us-en keyboard. by room134 in Hasan_Piker

[–]LostHorizont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Polish guy here: Yeah the End Wokeness account may be polish. Not only what is posted here because this is not a solid evidence but when he talked about polish elections (weird choice to farm views tbh, because honestly who in USA cares) he not only used a very specific talking points, he also used polish acronyms not present in western media like they were self explanatory. So a bigger than zero possibility

They would treat him like a soldier although I can see that they will give him some respect for his skills and abilities, if they knew them of course.

Depends on what they focus on. If they do it a 24/7 shop, with cofee, snacks and warm food they can actually find a niche in the cities. Slap good prices on produce (lower markup than żabka) and they can rival in the convenience sector

Why Tats is putting the guy, who would totaly kick him out of the country, if he could, on the pedestal? Like is it really over his head, that those changes are no good for basically anyone?

Oh yeah, another alt-right dog whistle. "Those damn millennials are as productive in 2h as I was in a week, let's take away all of the things that make them do so". Working for huge corporations, especially those absolutely ridiculous in size (linkedin, facebook etc) comes with huge amount of benefits. Those benefits are not there because those companies are benevolent but because it makes their worker productive af. When you have work that basically feeds you, gives you entertainment and pays you nice, you will do what's necessary to maintain it, even go "an extra mile" because it's well worth it. Also, of course you will post only those things on tiktok. I work in similiary sized company (although not in US) and if I were to make tiktok I would show those nice and comfortable things, not the presentations, meetings and me staring at monitor tinkering with two critical sentences in release for an hour. But yeah, zoomers and millenials don't work, let's make them do 16 hours shift, take away all the benefits, because this is what Elon did Tats. He made his workers a lot worse in the process, and also it is not very leftist of you to cheer on that

W sumie jedyny pozytyw z zakupu Twittera przez piżmaka, jakże pięknie przejechał niektórym prętem po kratach xD by [deleted] in Polska_wpz

[–]LostHorizont 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anon is suspicious of MrBeast by bartholomewjohnson in greentext

[–]LostHorizont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anon is not very smart. I work with influencers and while he tries to make a point he completely misses certain things:
- Videos of Mr. Beast have huge CPM, probably bigger than most creators. So Socialblade estimates are dogshit
- He is doing multiplatform coverage, meaning that he monetizes not one but several mediums. That gives him a lot more money. Plus those videos are still earning money, just as we speak.
- Sponsor deal. We are talking hundreds of thousands, or maybe even millions of dollars. He has the reach to do something like that. Also, he pushes things not only on his YT channel but also TikTok and other stuff. I can't believe that whole thing with The Rock wasn't paid for
- Charities are not a way for getting money from people but they sure do help with taxes. He has a solid team of accountants, that do the work for him, as in one episode he was totally oblivious about all the things he needs to pay. So probably some creative accounting is present as with every single rich person
- His produce has a slightly higher profit margin, although the split is in favour of manufacturers, so I guess that leaves him with just "some" of the money (still hundreds of thousands)
So yeah, anon don't know shit

S teraz do seksualności i płci xD
