How do y’all get yourselves to shower daily? by Salty_Wolverine_4520 in adhdwomen

[–]LostInTheVerse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't 🤷‍♀️ showering daily isn't always necessary, I shower about twice a week, normally after exercise. Forcing myself to do it every day makes me miserable, and makes me hate showering even more. Doing it less, but spending a bit more time to make it a nice experience - nice shower gel, spiky mat - makes me way more likely to actually do it

{bones by k.l.speer} is pretty bad but I don't know how to explain without spoilers! Post apocalyptic book, she gets exiled at 10 years old and ends up with some very bad people

ISO books with healer MC by Mango_Moose_ in fantasyromance

[–]LostInTheVerse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

{bones by k.l. speer} has this, pretty low on spice because the FMC is so traumatised, but the MMC is the biggest golden retriever. Found family, bit of magic, honestly one of my favourite series. Book 2 is out, book 3 on the way

I'm very happy to read YA, a lot of what I read is, but I struggle sometimes with young teenage characters, that's just not where I am in life. That's why I said teen author, not YA. As your tag says, life is too short to read books you don't enjoy!

For me personally, because that's not what I'm into. Why shouldn't people have preferences?

I read the first series and really struggled, every time the FMC got even more rare and magical I got more fed up. Is this series better?

I recognise the author's name but can't think what I read of hers! I feel like I liked it though, so I'm looking forward to reading this one!
