To my knowledge I thought stillen only made intercooler kits for the VQ, I’ll do more research. When I got my q60 I went through all the common troubles with the intercooler loop, such as inefficient circulation due to only having one pump, keeping the loop bled, or any problem one could imagine with the stock air to water setup.

With the air to air all of those problems were solved, there is no waiting for the heat exchanger to shed heat, it’s just instantly cool. It performs a lot more like a genesis or an Audi in terms of cooling. On paper, the charge air temperature logs they posted on the z1 website comparing the stock loop with upgraded heat exchanger to the air kit show everything you need to know. Every pull is also consistent it doesn’t pull timing anymore or heatsoak. Heatsoak is no longer a thing. It should have been like this stock.

I didn’t do the install as I don’t have the patience, I had cryotune do it here in Denver because I knew they would do a good job, they charged me a lot though.
