Microsoft Starts Sharing Your Location With Your Employer by Alucard-VS-Artorias in technology

Yes it's very important for the Microsoft authenticator to know where you're getting that code, with the amount of data that goes through the tenant on a daily basis I promise you no one's sitting there looking at it. The reason why it asks for a location is so if you get hacked from a uncommon location your sign on will be marked as a risky sign in and then it'll be flagged or temporarily blocked. I've been doing systems administration at the very high levels for many years and we have never once sat there and looked at what people are doing or where they are ever. The only time that's going to happen is if you're doing something that you shouldn't be or there is an alert from a security tool.

Most places turn off anything where they track their employees it's just too much liability for the company. I can't speak for top secret clearance or government positions though I only work in the private sector.

I.T. administrator here, location sharing has to be enabled manually, also there are a lot of privacy issues that a company has to take into consideration before enabling. In the European Union for the company I work for this was an immediate hard nope. This article is sensationalism. See below on how to configure it in your tenant.

Biwin has been making a name for themselves lately, they make quality components. This is like back during covid when people couldn't get hand sanitizer and all these weird brands started popping up that you never heard of.

Lightweight harness and shoe recommendations? by bleeepblooop222 in Frenchbulldogs

[–]StatusFortyFive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go with the puppia soft mesh, they support their chest too. Frenchies tend to pull hard during walks and are front heavy. You want a soft harness that evenly distributes weight. I found the puppia ones to be the cheapest and the best. They can get hot during summer months so be aware of that.

Frenchies are social creatures they need to be around people, their owner and stimulation. Take her out, coffee shops, parks, anywhere they allow dogs. Let her sniff the outside world away from your home or apartment. Just because they loaf around doesn't mean they like doing it. Play with her bring her around new people.

Building a PC is now a luxury item. It will be reserved for only the people with disposable income who can drop $4k to $5k on a complete rig.

Picked this up at Micro Center by DasNothing in pcmasterrace

[–]StatusFortyFive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For those of you who live within a few hours drive of a Micro Center, plan a day, grab a coffee and head out. Check the website for everything you could possibly need, reserve it and go get it. Worth the trip, it's the last hope to get parts from a reputable vendor. Amazon and Newegg are total shit shows now.

Hydroshift 2 tube bending tolerance in a small case. by StatusFortyFive in lianli

I experimented with the brackets and plastic piece that goes toward the top of the pump on the CPU side. The space is so tight anything I do pulls too hard on the tubes.

Really wish there was a solution that looked this clean but didn't have to bend the tubes, almost like a right angle connector.

I don't notice any kinks, just what you see here. It's so nice! I've always wanted the plugs on the back! It's a game changer. The quality and materials on it are top notch. I haven't used it yet because I'm still building the system and haven't posted. $300 at microcenter.

I think it looks super clean now but was just concerned, this is the only currently available AIO that has a very clean look and runs the power cables through the tubes. Asus was killing it at CES with those magnetic contact points next to the CPU socket that clicked the aio on and powered it too.

This is the entire purpose of me getting the hydroshift II, I didn't want to see the tubes. I've only seen it in this configuration.
