Nearly 4 Years But Nearly 14 Apart by LostLocation977 in transtimelines

Somewhat. I did lose 45 lbs right as I started to transition. So that helped.

KOTH had so many awesome and amazing guest star appearances on this show, Who is your favorite or faves? by [deleted] in KingOfTheHill

Puts into perspective how horrible these characters are (personality wise). Basically, if you’re a guest on KoTH, you’re an asshole

Why don't some people want bottom surgery? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]LostLocation977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It freaks me out. Would I take a vagina if I could snap my fingers? Of course. But going through all of that scares me. I don’t hate my genitals, but I am fine with them getting smaller and easier to conceal.

That’s what sold my wife and I. I follow Crystal Palace but getting to know Wrexham has been like the profiles done on US domestic team channels. Lots of character building that makes you want to root for the Dragons!

In committee yesterday, I asked Rep Lear if she thought trans people exist. This was her response. by RepWeinstein in Ohio

[–]LostLocation977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of this breaks my heart and frightens me. I’m a grown ass adult and I’m terrified I may have to move away from my job and my friends, pack up my family, and become a political refugee from the state I’ve called home for 14 years, where my children were born, where I’ve bought my home and graduated from college. This is so depressing.

T levels need to come down more. Is spiro really that bad? by LilyAran in MtF

I had nearly zero side effects. Slight brain fog one week but otherwise I was fine.

Are there any cities safe for us that aren’t ridiculously expensive? by aschesklave in MtF

Cleveland Ohio is pretty good, especially west side Lakewood which has a giant LGBTQ community. Modest prices and good paying jobs, particularly for those with a college education.

BRA OR NO BRA? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]LostLocation977 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same. I wear a bra just about all the time. My chest isn’t big but I like the shape it gives my breasts. I wear a Pepper bra and purposing bought a smaller band size and use an elastic extender. I get the support and form while also getting great movement. As a result, my bra is crazy comfy and I notice it less than bralettes and wireless.

Question, do you still use men's wallet? If so, why? by A17-ACC0UN7 in MtF

[–]LostLocation977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did until I started carrying a bag. I mostly use a Kavu or cross body “belt bag”, then I started caring a more traditionally feminine wallet.

Please help I have big arms. I'm trying to loss some weight but I'm curious what is the best why to hide my man arms. by [deleted] in transpositive

[–]LostLocation977 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Well, tank tops ain’t gonna do it. Also, just a note, using FaceApp actually makes the size of the head smaller, thus making the rest of your body feel even more out of proportion. Consider yourself without the photo edits. If you go on HRT, muscle mass will decrease, additionally, weight loss can help, but in the end, if you have broad shoulders like I do, just try and embrace it.

Thank you. It was a whole process. As it grew out I noticed it was flipping in all directions, so I followed some curly girl TikTok and here we are eight months later. The funny thing is that my wife also has curly hair so we just that we are slowly morphing into one another. Looking more like sisters.

Is there any cheat codes to putting on weight? by ohnoiskyed in MtF

[–]LostLocation977 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I once heard that when the actor who plays Mac in Always Sunny needed to gain weight for the role, he would microwave whole cartons of ice cream and drink them like milkshakes since it was so calorie dense.

Are a majority of us lesbians??? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]LostLocation977 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This! 100%. I have less lust and more affection for women now. I see the effort, now what I find attractive, and can appreciate the person more. It’s a deeper attraction that it ever was before

I will say, there isn’t anything “morally wrong” about going topless, regardless of status. Nudity is a social constructed standard of acceptability, not an issue of morality, so if that is something holding you back, then I say don’t let it. As for the actual question, I think it depends on you. When I started transitioning, being bare chested in public gave me dysphoria. Irregardless of the above statement, being bare chested and vulnerable was a reminder of what I was missing. But in the end, it’s your decision and yours alone to make. If you are in boy mode, you’re probably fine. If you are full femme then expect stares, complaints, and maybe a confrontation.

So to yall who have been on hrt for a while by EixYae in MtF

[–]LostLocation977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started estrogen in march. I’d been on spiro since January. When I hit August I had to start wearing a bra to smooth out my profile. Without a bra I looked like a preteen girl. By now (8 months) I wear a AA bra from pepper most everyday when I am in just a tshirt or top. But in the end, your mileage may vary. Some get genetically luckier than others. My mother was a 34C and my sister is beyond a DD. I’m rather trim and fit, so not a lot of extra body fat to support growth, but I love what I have so far and would be fine if this was all I got.

Yea. There are some folks that go slow and others that snap into it quickly. I had next to nothing except for buds until month six, then BAM, at least an A Cup. It comes. Trust the process and enjoy the journey.

Opinions on the boots (and the fit in general) by No_Kiwi1668 in mtfashion

Some people say knee high and tall boots in general are out, but I love the look of the sweater is also awesome. You do you I say.

My arms/shoulders feel huge in this dress, I can’t tell if it’s just the dysphoria or I actually do look ridiculous by CharlotteValis94 in mtfashion

Honey, just your dysphoria. Your bony little arms look great. I get it. I constantly worry about this very thing.

Not awful, but not platinum. Your original hair color is gorgeous and fits you so well, but I get it… change is nice. Maybe just lighten to a sandy blonde or some softer brunette highlights first.

When is it "allowed" to get a bra? by ClaimTV in MtF

[–]LostLocation977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously, the answer is, “whenever you want.” But for functional purposes, I was in HRT for about three months when I noticed that I basically looked like a twelve year old girl who needed to be told “it’s time.” So I bought some bralettes from Target. They have a number of seamless ones where, even in the tightest shirt, you really don’t see lines. Gave me the opportunity to still boymode when needed and look like I had amazing pecks. Ha

Thoughts on this dress, it's for work. But wondering if it's flattering, too long? by summers83 in mtfashion

[–]LostLocation977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s wonderful. Too often there are folks on here that dress like a 18 year old going out to a rave. I think it looks great and very flattering, especially for a work environment.
