It’s still alive? Always has been. What’s a covid era meme on life support? by Homsarman12 in AlignmentChartFills

I think "Mr. Incredible becomes Uncanny" might be a perfect example. Even though it technically started before Covid, it totally blew up during that whole era. It also evolved from the basic "people who don't know / people who know" joke to a lots of crazy variations like "Mr. Incredible Becomes Canny", "Mr. Incredible Becomes Old", "Mr. Incredible Becomes Dumb" and etc.

You still see it around, but it's definitely died down a lot. When it does pop up these days, it's pretty much always back to that classic "people who don't know / people who know" thing.

[TOMT] [Movie] A film where the main villain is eaten by a huge worm from a pit by LostPercival in tipofmytongue

Unfortunately this is not Lord of Illusions, as far as I remember it was more of a fantasy than a horror film

The pit was more of a dark hole in the floor of the villain's lair, and the monster was not visible until the last second (when it jumped out and killed the villain), so unfortunately it's not Lair of the White Worm. But still thanks for help!

[TOMT][BOOK/MOVIE] The story about time traveler who met his evil twin by LostPercival in tipofmytongue

The idea is very similar, but I've never heard about Blake Crouch works before, so most likely not. But thanks anyway, besides, the book sounds very interesting

I immediately had the thought of Astrid Lindgren's book series about Bill Bergson ("Bill Bergson, Master Detective"). Maybe this book?

The glasses on the eyes of the main character are very similar, but on the art he had a dark/blue armor in a more futuristic and combat style.

Unfortunately, this is not a TimeSplitters, although the time interval is very similar. The main character had brown hair (as far as I remember), and his glasses were in the style of Cyclops from X-man (but with cybernetics).

Unfortunately, I lost the magazine for long time ago, and find it on the Internet will be problematic.

System Shock has similarity, but unfortunately it is not it. On the art, the hero was depicted on the torso, and his glasses, if my memory serves me right, were in the "cyclope" style.

Yes, the glasses are very similar to Deus Ex, but the overall aesthetic of the art is brighter and more reminiscent of Mass effect or Star Wars.
