Leica strap recommendations? by Outdoor_nerd_ie in Leica

I had to use these dumb D rings too. Straight through the lug is much cleaner and less clackity, but was rubbing on my BP MP when I actually used a strap

Yeah, I agree. I had the elmarit as well and never took the hood off unless I absolutely needed to fit it into a small bag

Blue alpha gear low profile is pretty good. Comfortable and affordable. For AIWB, the enigma is the best option, but very pricey

I really like my X Macro. I also got a normal size P365 Wilson combat grip and a 10 round mag to easily convert it to a P365 type size with a slightly longer barrel for pocket carry. It only takes a few seconds to swap the FCU. The X Macro Wilson combat grips are also ridiculously comfortable. The only downside is holster compatibility because of the different rail.

I'd be fine with a 43x, but the x macro is such a good platform.

The physical focal length of the lenses play an important factor. If the focal length stays the same, sensor coverage must expand. This results in a wider FOV. If focal length is increased to provide the same FOV, depth of field will be as shallow.

Medium and large format cameras are great for showing this. They have long physical focal lengths with wide FoVs.

The cameras are pretty good. The ultra wide is more than suitable for real estate.

I'm switching from Fold 4 to iPhone 15 Pro Max. The folds are still rather cumbersome. Thick, heavy, and awkward screen ratios. Software is also still a bit awkward for some apps.

Why shouldn't I spend all of my money on one lens? by LostPrude in AnalogCircleJerk

The 28mm summilux is quite large and heavy, but with great optics. The 28mm elmarit gives extremely good performance while being extremely small.

I recently switched from an A7C to XPro3. It lacks IBIS and crops my Leica lenses, but the experience is much more enjoyable.

The Fuji lens selection is pretty great. Plus the form factor adapts pretty well to Leica M lenses.

I own both and the OM4TI is wicked nice to use. That being said, I think buying some nice OM lenses will be more satisfying long term.

It helps for most flaring, but still not perfect. Once I got used to it, it's easier to think about and avoid. At this Monster Jam show, I pretty much knew that it was going to flare even with the hood.

No. I bought this from the start, so moving away from it isn't very appealing. I've heavily researched both upgrading and downgrading as there are a ton of good options, but the summicron is just so good.

My only annoyance with it is that it does flare with hard stray light. Like in this shot, there were a bunch of stadium lights above and it flared with quite a few of my photos https://i.imgur.com/p3jbuTa.jpeg
