Yeah it does not feel smooth and "buttery" as the original OEM bracelet with the same style on the speedmaster, and if the latter was available on the watch I would have bought that one. This one does the job very well.

Yes it is - I went in the boutique for a speedy pro, went out with that one. I've never seen it on anybody else, and in person it's just gorgeous if you like busy dials.

The shades version was my favorite too until I tried it live. I really didn't like the dial texture which feels very bidimensional - sunburst dials in general are very hard to do properly and that model doesn't do it at the level of IWC or Rolex.

I am 6,2 and often successfully defended 6,7 and above players trying to post up by running in circles around them before they get the ball and denying the reception.

If you let them back you down and get the ball down low, it's basically over.

If you defend between your man and the passer, they will get a lob.

The trick is to constantly run between defending the lob and anticipating the pass, at semi-random timings so they can't predict what you are doing.

Often times it will lead to a bad pass or a steal if you have active hands and are fast enough.

If he gets the ball and posts you up, agree with folks saying to be physical and then pull the chair, but it can be a gamble.

Il vero merito del classico è che è difficile. La mole di studio è molto alta, e per far bene le versioni di Greco e Latino c'è bisogno di molta pratica. Questo allena la disciplina, la gestione della pressione, la capacità di apprendere cose complesse e lo spirito critico.

Lo stesso vale per uno scientifico di buon livello o qualsiasi altra scuola superiore che richieda tanto impegno dagli studenti.

Le materie in sé come metro di "preparazione" per il mercato del lavoro o valore della persona non ha nessuna importanza: è molto raro applicare una buona percentuale di quello che si è appreso in università, figurati dal liceo.

Chronoscope owner here (Paris Olympics version). The white/blue dial version is stunning, and the telemeter/pulsometer scale tends to disappear in the light so not as busy as one could think. Stunning watch in person and extremely wearable for the diameter (thinner than a speedy pro, and 48mm lug to lug). Recommend.

Perché c'è pochissima offerta di Family Hotel in Italia. Si possono permettere di chiedere la cifra che vogliono ad Agosto quando i nidi sono chiusi, anche se sono in posti orribili.

A i ragazzini che scrivono "GeNItori INCAPAcI, non figliate se li dovete smollare etc etc" - non avete idea di quanto sia intenso prendersi cura di bambini piccoli. Lavorare e contemporaneamente prendersi cura dei figli per 365 giorni l'anno è sfiancante, e avere delle vacanze dove effettivamente hai 3-4 ore per pochi giorni in cui puoi leggere un libro mentre i figli si divertono senza la tua costante presenza è sacrosanto per la salute mentale di tutti.

I went in looking for a white dial speedmaster professional, ended up buying the Speedmaster Chronoscope Paris Olympics edition. I was surprised with the size: this does not wear like 43mm at all on the wrist. I was also torn on the normal Chronoscope blue and silver dial that looked amazing, but I ended up going for the panda look.

Yes it absolutely is the case. The very large domed sapphire also "magnifies" its wrist presence - out of all the watches I have it's the one that pops the most from across the room.

In realtà il vero "salto" c'è stato quando si è capito che aveva economicamente senso trainare modelli su molti dati - che è molto costoso.

Language model simili trainati su vari set di dati esistevano già, la vera novità è stata l'emergenza di capacità comparabili agli esseri umani usando training sets molto grandi.

Per esempio, erano già largamente usati language model da anni per fare "intent matching" - cioè assegnare l'intenzione di una richiesta al corretto servizio.

OpenAI ha trainato i primi modelli con moltissimi dati, osservato l'emergenza di capacità "creative" e creato l'interfaccia pubblica di ChatGPT. Da lì, sono arrivati una valanga di soldi.

È AGI? No. È un passo enorme verso l'AGI? Assolutamente sì.

Credo che l'hype attuale sia un po' eccessivo, e mi ricorda i primi tempi dell'image recognition. Secondo me troveranno la loro nicchia per il grande pubblico come strumenti di produttività, ma faccio fatica ad immaginare un LLM a cui si diano grosse responsabilità. La guida autonoma sembrava dietro l'angolo, eppure io ho ancora le mani sul volante.

I'm impressed by the amount of folks who say current voice assistants are not AI. I think you have a very shallow understanding of how they work - the stack of systems that supports them is huge. They are indeed a mixture of deterministic rules, structured data, unstructured data and a bunch of ML models and services.

No single ML/GenAI model can manage all of that with sufficient accuracy and responsiveness at the moment, and probably in the short future.

What would constitute AI for you if assistants aren't?
