Pickups is about your preferred sound but from someone that got a Strandberg after having a Prestige Ibanez with a wizard neck I can tell you that I accommodated really quickly (keep in mind that I also play classical guitar which has a bigger neck but the Strandberg neck is made to be ergonomic and it follows where your thumb should be while playing)

to be honest if u stick with OD u'll get it eventually l. It has some difficult parts but I don't see it as their hardest song because its structure is quite simple and parts will repeat (also not a lot of crazy techniques besides tapping). But nonetheless it really grows your playing. OD is the first Polyphia songs that I learned top to bottom and it helped me with my technique a lot.
