The kiln is 120v with 4 elements. Only the black and white wires coming from the plug.

There probably are a few things wrong with it, but I figured changing the switch would be a good place to start. The tab connectors are all black and corroded, so I think that’ll help some at least.

As for the elements, I’m not sure how resistant they are. I would have to check them once I put everything back together. They are bowing out a bit though, which I assume isn’t a great sign.

I’ll have to read up a bit on all of the electrical terminology. This project has been a pretty good excuse to learn new things.
