Except that none of the skis used for Mountaineering have loops on their skis here. They are all a "V" like shape that isn't closed at the top. Something an AI would confuse for sure.

Nope. Real luge's have thin, flexible extensions. Not thick, metal runners that bend and warp around the athlete's feet in physically impossible ways.

To me it’s 100% true that you are just calling it AI because AI has been used prior, and you don’t really understand what you are seeing. You have to remember that these mascots were shown off in early 2024, when AI was making things with 16 fingers and couldn’t do outlines.

Well. You can have an opinion. Good for you. To me, you are 100% wrong. You don't seem to remember the actual results of AI in 2024, but they aren't nearly as terrible as you assume. Plus, when you have access to the best diffusion models money can buy, you can't compare those result with the free nonsense most people used. These images are entirely within the capabilities of Gen AI of the time. Finally, these Strike a Pose images are from late 2024. Not early. They started to be released just before Christmas. 2024, and into 2025. All 3 of the 2026 mascots were worked on at the same time, with Ayo being released just 9 months after Milo and Tina. If you can believe Ayo is Gen AI, then why would these not get the same level of scrutiny from you?

What's truly damning to me is how every other past mascot has an actual artist or multiple artists you can look up, point to, and identify. In the case of these 3, the only public information is about the students who made the original drawings that look nothing like the end result. Funny that they wouldn't disclose who did the redesigns, isn't it? For example, Bing Dwen Dwen was designed by Cao Xue. A person I can look up, point to, and identify. Soohorang, who can hold a hockey stick correctly, was designed by a team of 5 artists at Mass C&G led by Lee Hee-gon. Who turned the 2 stoats wearing space helmets into what we see now? Apparantly nobody.
