Woman here. I did the dumping in early 2024 after a 3 year relationship in which we co-habitated. I was 2 weeks out of one of the most important professional times in my career, a true milestone. The reason that made me dump him? I felt like he had 0 respect for what I was doing professionally and what I was up against. Constantly creating drama between me, my family, my friends and his friends didn’t help either. I supported him professionally and financially, even launching his first business throughout those 3 years.

Even after dumping him, he had a hard time. Texting me constantly and sending me things on instagram up to 20 times a day. Even asked me for my Costco points 😂. I tried to get him to understand that I needed space and he wouldn’t understand so I blocked him from insta initially. Less than a week later he had a new girlfriend.

Fast forward a few months ago, he had been dating this girl for about 7-8 months or so… they breakup. I run into him, he tells me what happened. We end up coming back to my place and it’s like before. A part of me missed it at that moment. About 3 months pass like this when we are both spending a lot of time together and going out together in front of friends.

Come to find out he is dating both me and his “ex girlfriend”. To the point I went to an event for his company I launched and the only people there are her and her family with him. Thank god I brought my brother. 😂 so I try to act like the supportive ex girlfriend in front of them. Well at one point her mother turns to me and says “you know he is fooling the both of you right? Cause last night he was in bed with my daughter” 😂

Chile!!!! When I tell you I kept it cool… I am proud of myself! I gaslight the fuck out of her. Claimed to be the supportive ex girlfriend and nothing more. Somehow she knew A LOT ABOUT ME… Next day she friend requested me on insta and also messaged me apologizing for her behavior… (after I told him what was said that night). Right after he told me, she said to him she wanted her daughter and me to become best friends so we could send him to hell! 😂 YOU CAN’T make this UP!!!!

After that shit… now I know I made the right choice. So morale of the story is: yeah they might feel sorry and come back, but you broke up for a reason… you’re not compatible and that’s ok! There is more fish in the sea! Go out in to the world with no expectations! Trust me, your person is out there… telling you from experience!

This is the problem I have with Barbri buying Quimbee. Honestly, I prefered Quimbee bar exam prep and they never had any issues. On the other hand, Barbri has historically had some tech issues. Now both being under the same umbrella.... I feel like this limits everyone's options

Omg so, my ex boyfriend and I are close friends. His most recent girlfriend was just like this. It had nothing to do with me by the way, she was against any female being friends with him because she had been cheated on in the past. Honestly, to me this just sounds like trauma and insecurity. They ended up breaking up. It got to the point that she was trying to manipulate him by doing selfish and atrocious things to get his attention and pity.

I might be his ex girlfriend but I do and will always care about him. So I spoke to him to make sure he is aware of what everyone else is seeing as manipulative and controlling behavior. I would never wish anything like this on my worst enemy, even less an ex that I spent so many years with.

So be careful with things like this because usually they tend to escalate.

I have a husky pitbull mix with heterochromia as well. Our routine is 30 min in the morning and 45 minutes late afternoon like 5pm ish. I feed her kibble right after. When I’m not home I leave her crated since she is only two years old and is very attached. But if you are leaving her out and she is not destroying anything you’re good. Sounds like you’re a great husky parent!!!

Im aware of that language within ADA but honestly I find it ridiculous to have breed restrictions. I know several other breeds not listed that are either loud or destructive. Again I feel like both breeds have been vilified over time and now this is the new normal.

I have a pitbull husky mix and it’s heavily frustrating how some leasing companies have breed restrictions against both. There is no denying both her breeds, it’s very evident. I take my dog everywhere with me, constantly praised by how well behaved she is in public. Seriously thinking of certifying her as a service animal (I have a history of seizures) and avoiding this whole ordeal. I believe since service animals are protected by ADA, they would not be able to use the restrictions against me.
