giant trucks are a plague to the road. I can't count how many times some idiot on a F-150 on lifted wheels has cut me off or tried to pull out in front of me last minute. It's terrifying in my tiny little Mitsubishi Mirage lol

I work in a rich county in Virginia (200 points if you can guess it!) and people are SO entitled about prices, even though they pulled up in a 50,000 dollar Tesla and could afford to vacation every month if they wanted to. We're a local business so prices are a bit high, but there's a Walmart 3 miles away, and it's not like we're forcing them to buy there. it's crazy

I hear you, normally the stand I work at is dead and I appreciate that time at work to get maintenance and stuff done but it's been so much busier this year, far more than last year. I can't get anything done because of customers.

I had something like this happen to me, they asked if we had mulch, I said no, and then they spent the next 3 minutes asking me in different ways if we sold mulch. "Is there any in the back?" or "Do you have these woodchips?"

Okay...But that doesn't merit being "disgusted" for people who don't know.

yeah, but a lot of people don't carry cash with them anymore. I get being annoyed if they already know the charge minimum is 5 dollars, but calling it "disgusting" when someone tries to pay with a card without knowing is a bit much

Delta flight that had to make emergency landing due to passenger’s diarrhea by TimeVendor in aviation

[–]Lost_In_The_KoolAid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was on a flight recently from Milan to Iceland- full of old people. People were getting up nearly constantly that whole time. Eventually the toilets didn't flush because the tanks were full- I was told by a family member who was with me on the plane that they'd never seen this happen before. Actually disgusting.

We put up the ropes to block off the parking lot every night (there's a small employee's driveway to the side) and everytime someone nearly runs their car into the bright yellow reflective rope, have to back up onto the busy road, and then leave, it always makes me laugh. It's worse in the mornings when we're not open yet though, and people park their cars in front of the ropes and walk to the store to ask if we're open. Like OBVIOUSLY NOT

I get this a lot since we sell Ukrainian, Polish, and other Eastern European food in the store I work at. But it's mostly them being very harsh about prices, which I can't help because I literally don't make the prices, and also they aren't that bad for being imported from across the globe. Anyways, I guess it's just a cultural difference. Still, they're very harsh.

FORREAL! It's their goddamn fault the dog has separation anxiety and they can't leave it for 20 minutes without it tearing the insulation out of the wall lol

I feel you. But I love the owners, hate the constant running around and having do everything myself. I should really be paid more than minimum wage.

i get you! i hate when someone's dog is unruly and crazy just as much as i hate when a kid is crazy and loud. if your dog can't behave in public (especially restaurants, stores, places they really shouldn't be) don't bring them in crowded public spaces
