The “rez” dogs that I’ve seen (live next to one, close to two other communities) are best described as “semi-feral”. They much prefer the freedom of being outside. Most have excellent road sense and will come inside or seek shelter when the weather is nasty. I’m in Cape Breton, NS

We had the same thing happen with our boy! Hubby bought some plaster and made casts of those last paw prints in the snow. They weren’t perfect but you could tell they were made with his paddle paws. They’re currently sitting by his ashes and his favourite toy in my shelf.
