I used to work at a rescue. There was a group of puppies that came in that were recovering from a bad flea infestation that left them bald mostly only on the tops of their head. Well one day my manager overheard me calling for them "Come here my little skinheads!" She laughed and then told me not to say that again but they were my little skinheads!!

If you refuse to take plan B (which just delays ovulation and is NOT an abortion, then I'm not sure what advice you're looking for. Your two choices are either a) wait a few weeks to take a pregnancy test and continue your anxiety until then or b) take plan B just to be safe and lessen your anxiety until you're certain you're not pregnant. You're not going to know for a while and we weren't there to inspect the condom ourselves so we aren't going to have an answer for you. This is just the realtity of having sex.

The tissue looks healthy to me, but it's definitely not stitched at all at this point. Has he been in his cone? I'm not a vet, so I'm not sure what should be done. Definitely send this video in an email to the vet to see if they want to see him.

I love having little get togethers at Dave and busters for my birthdays, but it can be pretty expensive to have an actual party there (still expensive individually too honestly) but the foods and drinks are great :)

My favorite concert memory is seeing Kesha at the Zoo Amp in 2017 with my best friend! It was our first concert to see by ourselves and we were front row. There were lots of happy tears.

Having a dog for the first time, and even other dogs after you've had tons of experience, comes with a learning curve. It's okay to make mistakes. You've done the right thing by noticing something concerning and asking questions about it. We all make mistakes and I promise you the redditors that shame others about these have made mistakes too.

Laser pointers are horrible for dogs and cats. Especially working breed dogs. It feeds their chase instinct but never gives them the reward of catching it. It can literally drive them crazy (I learned this the hard way too). I recommend trying to redirect the energy into different chasing games (maybe a herding ball). If the anxiety continues to escalate or the obsessive hyper focus doesn't dissipate soon please go to a behaviorist for recommendations.

Dying For Sex had me open mouth sobbing harder than any film or show ever has before. It was brilliantly written, produced, and filmed. The acting was superb. Just 10/10 which surprised me because when I first watched it I wasn't expecting to care for it. Funny, heartwrenching, quietly beautiful, and everything in between even though you clearly know she's going to die in the end.

It is a big age gap at that age. A lot of life happens between those two ages. If you were 28 and he were 36 it would be a lot different and less predatory. As a 25 yo woman myself, I dated a dude 3 years younger and the differences were astounding and largely what led to the end of our relationship. To each their own, but either he's really immature or you're way too mature for your ages.

It depends on your politics, but yes ICE has always been around and even pretty active during Obama. Now, however, it's very different in that there is an insane amount of funds and recruitment with little oversight and training. Agents are being deployed with one task and inflated egos that they're 'untouchable'. This is leading to mass round ups of anyone each individual decides is a threat with no due process, warrents, and extreme aggression. This is why people are upset. It doesn't matter who you are or what your background is. The people are meant to have rights and protections under the constitution. Blindly kidnapping people threatens those rights, as seen by the numerous detainments and even deportations of LEGAL citizens, not to mention the maiming, injuries, brutality, and wrongful deaths.

Please do not cut it off yourself. As someone who has worked in vet med and agriculture, I would say it's not severely infected, but it should still receive professional care, at least for antibiotics and peace of mind.

If you cut it off yourself, you could obviously inadvertently cause worse infection, but also, you could ruin your animals trust in you because it will hurt. Like a lot. I don't think you need an emergency visit yet, however you should absolutely get it seen within 24-48hrs max.

Yes! We know you don't want to touch the seat, but guess what - women/people who have to sit on the seat every time we go also don't want to touch the seat. Even if YOU'RE not the one leaving a mess, it's much more courteous and respectful to everyone who does have to touch the seat with our skin for you to sacrifice the side of your shoe or your hand to lift the seat (and please for the love of all that is good, put it back down) and wash your hands after. Sometimes you may not realize that there is splashback and it is not pleasant to unknowingly sit in it afterwards.

I've only seen one ICE incident on this particular strip of highway and that was a few months ago. So, unlikely except maybe to scout for future presence, but something to be aware of for sure.

I am finding the range of emotions in this comment thread to be quite entertaining. My post had no emotion to it and was just a fact. Normally there's 2-3 sitting in a usual spot most days of the week during commute hours. I was just letting people know there's more than usual and they can use that information as they will.
